@Johnny FD, would you be interested in contacting someone I met playing SimCity BuildIt who lives in Dnipro Ukraine about collaborating in TH-cam? It would give you coverage of one more city. He wishes to learn English, maybe he can teach you Ukrainian? He doesn't have a TH-cam channel to my knowledge, but could have another angle on the war.

Checked Busuu out, but they don't have a course for Ukranian, which is more closely related to other Eastern European languages than Russian. Russian has a lot of Asian words but only 40% of Slavic while Ukranian shares 60% Slavic do so can go on to learn others more easily.

Johnny, it s so heartwarming when i see foreign people who didnt leave Ukraine. I lived many places, Asia, US, EU, UK, before the war, but i always come back to Ukraine, never wanted to move forever. Ukrainians will return. Being ukrainian and having ukrainians friends in Bulgaria, Poland, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden, Germany, ALL of them are planning to return. I have only one who is undecided cause she met her love there this year, but she still calls me and says she wants to get back at least to live two countries in the future.

Hi! You are so right about things at 36:04!! I think people "stop" being themselves when they "settle for convenience" after 26-30 y of age. Then it is a race to talk and get the things you want to own, a mortage, promotions (in corporates your heart is not really beating for) potential partner etc. It makes people kinda grown up and less like kids. Kids are vivid, openminded, honest and non judgemental. But adults loose that. I loved university studies and working in my field until I worked with too many grown ups in a greedy corporate (pharmaceutical). When I got kids I decided my dream job rn was to be a stay at home mum time being which is uncommon here. But many ask me why I dont choose "too have it all, kids AND also a career"... But I just dont want that as i see all peers try to have everything perfect, i get anxiety instead. Sure money is really important. But I dont want to miss the ray of sunshine outside a nornal morning or taking time to wait on side when your kids find perfectshaped stones and become the happiest and you dont have to rush them because you need to be in a grumpy CFO meeting soon etc...

After that it will be "where do you two live", are you planning a fam, next is "are you getting promoted" "one or more kids etc"....continues till 55 and then is like all give up and only think of pension. Im exaggerating and not all like that but you know the deal. Better to live in moment and avoid that energy as much as possible.... I feel is easier in 40s. People more life experienced and gone through speed bumps so little more humble.

Hi Johnny, please do NOT take this the wrong way as I do truly enjoy watching your video’s.
My question is, why are countries such as Australia, US and many others supporting the Ukraine by supplying billions of dollars of military equipment, especially when you watch a lot of TH-camr’s from the Ukraine showing people out enjoying themselves as if there is no war at all?
Isn’t the Ukraine still under martial law? By watching TH-cam you would not think so??
Again, I just had to get this off my chest as you did ask for any questions at all.
    Take care!

I imagine it’s to protect the world from Russian domination. Putin is determined to get a warm water port at all costs. Also even in war times, people have to live and try and make the most of their lives. Parts of the Ukraine are safer than others especially those closer to the Russian border, but perhaps you saw footage recently of drone attacks on Kiev so it’s not all roses. Johnny had friends over recently when air raid sirens were being sounded, it has become so normalised for them.

I noticed you mentioned learning Russian to better learn skavic languages. Russian shares only about 40% of its words with Ukranian, while Ukranian shares 60% of its words with other Slavic languages including Czech, Slovenian, Polish, etc. Many in Croatian also for example. Russian has a lot of Asian words. It's less Slavic, and now the direction things are going in, the Baltic states and East European states are heading away from Russian influence.
I noticed a cool thing about Ukranian - that many of the letters function phonetically the way Greek does. I thought it was just the "f" sound letter which is the same as the Greek phi, but later realized there are many more, and no surprise as Greeks had influence especially in western Ukraine.

Just FYI - Busuu Russian is their worst course. Around halfway on A1, it basically becomes a phrasebook. Grammar and explanations disappear. They don't even have language tests for Russian. And you find out about none of this until you've paid because it is a normal course in the beginning. If you want structure, check out a book series called "Russian through Propaganda" or a video based course called "Red Kalinka".

It is not a secret, man that can potentionally serve in military in case of need of general mobilisation, are forbidden from crossing the border. And, that is right in my opinion too. Many weak willed people gained courage, seeing no easy escape, and actually joined army or stay and suppport economics in some way.
Full cowards run anyway paying high price to smugglers or bribing officers, but government tried to put those cases to end (or secreetly boosting economics with those money lol).

@@hirdbarding3399 My dad got drafted for the Korean war in 1951. His grandmother wanted him to flee to Spain (fascist Franco... no extradition treaty with the USA) telling him, _"This isn't WW2; it's not something worth dying for."_ His mother however, said he'd ruin his life by doing that. He said he really thought about what his life would be like in Spain. He wasn't afraid of the illegality, but rather how people he knew would view him for running, and so he went to Korea.

There are Travel Trailers that can be pulled and the truck, van, SUV or small car can pull it but you have to consider the gross weight when buying one and not the dry weight because they need to be taken to a black water dump to unload said black water which means the gross weight is the weight that needs attention plus the weight of your things. Used Travel Trailers can be as low as $12,000 with reasonable age. Check the specs on your vehicle to find out the maximum weight it can pull. The camper vans are way too expensive, have no space and if the car breaks one can replace it. If the travel trailer breaks it can be replaced. But with a class C, B, A camper vehicle the cost is too high to just replace.
If you have land you can install the sewer connect, electric, internet and water. The land only needs to be big enough for the vehicle and the travel trailer but it is nice to have at least half acre so one can build a house.

I planted two rose bushes and after seeing some of my orchids bloom I picked up 4 additional orchids that were relatively inexpensive and set them around the yard. In Florida, January and December are when my orchids bloom. Some die off during the summer heat. Others weather the heat well of which some of those heat resistant orchids bloom in the summer months and other heat resistant orchids bloom in the cooler months. My most beautiful orchids bloom December and January. You don't need a country home to have a garden. Your sun room can probably house some orchids as well as some edible vegetable and herb plants much like a winter green house.
I spend about $20 on groceries at Aldi's every couple days. When my electric car is not in the shop I have no gas bill from using my Suburban. Later this year I'm planning on installing solar tiles on my roof so I have a zero electric bill. At. the moment, If I want I can get my electric bill under $200 by hand washing my clothes and drying them on a rack outside plus not using central air conditioning or heating; even so, I want to make that electric bill zero. I think my neighbors may have $600 give or take a $100 electric bills and mine is half that or less. Now if I were to shop at other grocery stores my bill is always over $60. If I were to use my Suburban all the time my fuel bill is about $800 every three months. If I want to spike my electric bill and double it I'd turn on my air handler and compressor. But I avoid those expenses and make my budget smaller as a result. May go on a fasting diet which is basically five days with 1 protein plus vegetables and a fruit a day with just water and 1 day a week with no meal but plenty of water with the seventh day being an optional cheat day, second fast day or another 1 meal day.. So my grocery bill will drop to an even smaller amount. For exercise I garden or bike to the grocery store.
In my garden I have chickens and homing pigeons. I have so many eggs that I never have to buy any eggs and my eggs are blue, green and brown organic eggs. My pigeons lay eggs which are edible. You could actually have birds as well in your unit without a country home but it would require some changes to your glass encased patio: 1. access to the outdoors for the pigeons, 2. a cage for the pigeons, 3. a small stacked chicken coup for egg layers. You can hang orchids on the bird cages. Yep, you could even have a rose bush on that back patio encased in glass.

Nice to hear some interesting things about living in Ukraine. I actually thought this was a fundraiser but must have missed where you shared information on the organization. I had interruptions.
I loved the classical music, and it was hilarious timing when you were answering the question towards the end about living in the US and the brass marching band music started playing. 🤣
If you did a video about buying real estate in Ukraine and discussed what the steps are I would love to know. For example, in the US as you know you find a realtor to show you around, do searches on zillow or realtor, gey a pre-approval letter from your lender, find a house and get it under contract, and then there are the specifics like the "due diligence" period and inspections, the appraisal, getting income documentation to your lender, and eventually signing closing documents and getting the keys. I would love to know the process of buying real estate in Ukraine.

Hi Johnny, just thought about a crazy idea, how about holding one your conventions (Biz talks) in Ukraine (in Leviv or somewhere close to the Polish border so those who are inclined and would like to take a bit of risk in their lives to come and see your talk and also show solidarity with the Ukrainian people by coming in and contributing to the economy. Not sure if you can probe to find out how many people would be interested and also talk to the national guards in Ukraine and see if they can take your guests to areas that are safe and may be damaged or centers where Ukrainians are making Uniforms or engaging in other activities related to the war efforts. This will bring more awareness to outsiders about what is happening to Ukraine and also your guests can make their own connections with the locals for their channels. You never know what an idea like that may lead to. Pre-screen locations of stay and field trips with the Ukraine national guard for safety and send an invite to Bald as a speaker, then he may be able to get a visa with your invite.

Great QA Johnny - your immigrant parents did a great job of raising you. You got to see the world from both sides growing up. It's a special thing to be first gen American. The USA is made up of every culture on the planet - mostly tolerant and accepting. One must ask why Russians are disliked by all the former Soviet States. When one culture / ethnicity seeks to dominate another resentment grows. This resentment can last for years and generations. Russia has tried to destroy Ukrainian language, traditions and culture for hundreds of years. They try to deny it for just as long and the trolls here are evidence. You're popular and a target by Russian propagandists. Perhaps one day they will wake up but it seems like they have been raised from birth to hate Ukrainians. You're a good person living the best life we all would love to live. Much respect.

Johnny again, another spectacular Q&A, I’d like to add a couple of things that I agree and disagree, and here’s my first answer or question, I think that your situation is awesome, I think you would put on the situation where you have the education, you have a smart, educated, individual, with a good job, some people in life do not start off that way, and actually most of the people coming to the US is totally opposite, they’re born in a situation, where they don’t have education no job, and they need a place where they can advance it even though it’s overpriced they manage to put themselves in a situation where they could spend less, to gain that economic advantage like yourself, but I do agree, and I would say an 80
Percent of your answers I totally agree, I’m out of California, the Silicon Valley to be exact, but I do agree as far as values, and I still have some of my families ways, so I try to go by respect and honor, and bettering our lives, you have done it, like I said, in the past your parents should be happy and proud to have a young man like yourself, doing the things that you’re doing, if I had the opportunity, I would do the same thing, Johnny, keep the faith brother and keep it going PS it’s true I learned about your channel through bald and bankrupt, and I’ve never looked back videos keep it up.
I’m the guy that is visually impaired,

@@sonicmoj1 A lot of women like "big" guys. It makes them feel small & dainty. That said, you can tell by how hard he breathes after walking anywhere that he's out of shape. Heart problems run in my family. My dad died at 39 & my older brother at 29 from heart attacks and I had one in 2012. It made me change my eating & exercise habits and I lost 58lbs in the 6 months after my attack.

@@Matt_from_Florida Sorry to hear about your family. That was my point to Angela but you are right. That's a viewpoint I didn't consider but one thing I do know, nothing healthy comes from "big". Our bodies were not made to carry 100 of extra pounds. Given Johnny's height, there is a healthy body fat composition and weight that he should target to avoid heavy breathing after taking 5 steps. He's too young to develop all these health issues.
