How did your inside camera work? I can’t seem to get mine off the cloud. Don’t know why. I only want to use my usb connection to record and not pay for prescription. Can you give me info about that. Would appreciate your feedback. Ty
I am not sure how the USB storage works. Right before the holidays, I decided to put a USB drive in, thinking I could download older videos from the cloud but that did not work. I haven't checked it since I put it back in but I believe the USB will only store recent videos. My indoor camera works great. Sometimes I forget to turn it off when I am indoors so I learned that I occasionally talk to myself. 🤣
Hmmnnnn... I have a second one to install while I am off work next week. I'll see if I can find a reason why. Are you able to cut the lights on and off using the app on your phone?
If the power goes out does the module reset itself because I was watching another video and somebody said it was a major flaw I was just wondering if you had an issue
I am so disappointed in this camera. It won't work like a normal floodlight when you just want light. You have to arm it to have it just light up when you need a light. It's so frustrating. I don't want to mount a normal floodlight right next to my blink light. This is such a minor software addition they could add to make it work like a normal floodlight as well. I'm really shocked actually.
I just checked mine. I'm outside with my system disarmed. When I click on the floodlight option of light bulb with lines around it, my floodlight came on without activating the camera or having the system armed.
@@KimTownsel Yes but you manually triggered that right? I want it to be able to do that with motion detection without recording video so it acts like a normal floodlight. I contacted customers support and they said it is not possible. The thing is I want to be able to have a motion activated light when I walk into the backyard sometimes without getting a notification and video recording. I can turn notifications off and leave it armed but then I get a bunch of videos I don't want that waste battery.
Yes, I did. Sounds as if you need a regular motion-sensor light for that. I have several video reviews about motion sensor lights that I use with excellent results.

I was a bit surprised at the printed installation guide. Very limited! The instructions on the app were way better..

My power has gone off several times but the alarm settings were the same when power returned. Never had a problem.
