I've seen him three times and for me ( definitely star struck) he's like a force of nature that I am in awe of. I would never let me speak to him.
Two of those times I saw him with his friend who had MS. I think. They would have coffee at Coffee Bean on 2nd Street in Santa Monica. Around 20 years ago.

First tine I saw Al Pacino was in The Godfather. Wow, what a performance. Every movie he made after that was terrific. He is one of the Great ones. And good looking too. All the best Mr. Pacino.

Chris P. My son is a professional musician/artist. He has met some of the greats in music. He always says that the musicians he has met, the well known ones internationally, are usually very humble. Interesting.
I think having a pompous, arrogant image is detrimental to success, especially with music and film, because you become a part of other people for a short while and they feel what you try to display, they look through your eyes as an artist (and the eyes of the director, song writer), most people are good and moral as far as they can comprehend, people do not want bad people to become a part of them as far as they can comprehend, not even for a little while.

The only man in the world who can be scruffily dressed with a ruffled (just woken up in the morning) hair style and still look amazingly cool... The Godfather is and will always be the best film ever made to me because of his amazing presence in all of those scenes. Hope we are able to see many more great movies in the future with the one and only "Al Pacino".

I love this interview he gave for the simple fact that he is relaxed, happy and so open about his life and career, speaking with such simplicity and genuine interest. He’s so charming and cute that I would love talk to him all the time and hear him.

Al Pacino, truly a class act, an amazing and remarkable actor, one of the most cherished actors of my generation. I could listen to him and his stories about his life for hours, what a easy interview this must have been with such a legend in the movie industry.
