    I remember seeing this video prior to getting my new 2016 Duke 390. I agree this bike is really fun and gives you enough power for city rides and is more than capable of short highway runs. I am currently in the market for the 2022 Triumph Trident 660 but I plan to hold onto my Katie M. Duke just for the grins. Thanks again.

    Nice review, living in the Philippines now and not to many chooses of bikes over 200cc here. The Dukes (all) have been a choice since 2013 and here the traffic is VERY heavy so the 390 makes allot of sense. Thanks for the review.

    Nice review! I have the same bike at home and seeing you having a blast, made me feel like jumping out and go for a ride 😋
    BTW, I don't think you've mentioned this in the review but, the instrument clusters light up when you turn on the head light or DRL.
    Hard to see in the day but at night, its dope 👌

      +Kevin Arnold Thanks!!
      It was such a great ride. I cant wait until the season returns!

      thanks!

      The turnsignals horn Etc are also backlit so at night you can easily see the controls. I am actually going to be picking up a RC390 as a second bike to my big 1200 moto guzzi Griso.

    I'm just saying hold on till you save up for a 2023 at least,the cluster is worth it with the ride modes an it's easy to see in the day as well as the 2024,the 2024 model has adjustable forks on rebound an compression if that's something your into or not,not saying anything bad about the older models but damn,they are awesome

  • @kennywheelus6857

    Bro,I finally got to sit on one at a dealership last Friday,if you think the one your on,then bro check out the cluster on the new 2023 an 2024,it's easier to see in color just is beautiful in my opinion,I fell in love with the 2024 Atlantic blue version,I just gotta put more money down on mine an I'll have it, definitely sits up more frame wise than my grom clone an I love that its chain driven too with a slipper clutch,bright led headlights too

    Im so eager to compare this directly to the new CFmoto 400NK, but its just come out so no one has videos of it in english. Spec wise they are so similar and they look like copies of each other, they are designed by Kiska. Couple major differences like the CFmoto is a lower bike, bigger tank, weighs more and is overall a cheaper bike.

    Nice! this bike just arrived here in Brazil, so people are getting excited about it. But, at the same time people (like me) are getting suspicious about it. Did the seat felt hard enough to be a problem on this bike? And what about the engine heating? People here think that this might be a problem since we're on a tropical country.

    • @RentThisRide
      @RentThisRide  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Gustavo Bernardini I have zero complaints about comfort over all. Riding position and seat comfort is good over all for a smaller rider. if you are 5'9 and up it might be a bit cramped. As for the heating, we did have an issue with the cooling system when we first got it, but since it was fixed on warranty we havnt had an issue since. It is a small radiator so id be curious to hear how things go in warmer climates.

    • @DorDor400
      @DorDor400 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +kelvin sharma it will be a little better but still quite a small bike for your height. but it would be better than the duke id think!

    • @kelvinsharma2056
      @kelvinsharma2056 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Dorian W. then plzz suggest me bike for my height in the price range of RC 390

    • @RentThisRide
      @RentThisRide  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      kelvin sharma I would try sitting on the RC390 and seeing if it feels ok. all of the 300cc bikes are quite small.
      If that doesnt work I would try to find a used Duke 690, A Buell XB, Suzuki SV, or yamaha fz07

    So this puppy or a GROM?!! I'd bacically drive it only in rural areas near the coast in Northern CA.

    • @RideWithRahulOfficial
      @RideWithRahulOfficial 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +DrSlideit the Duke 390 makes a lot more sense as full sized bike, it won't cramp you up like the grom. I have a lot of videos of Duke 390 including a comparative review of the RC390 vs Duke 390.

    • @ninjamonkey555555555
      @ninjamonkey555555555 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Michael Hansen Hi, just to help you out. I'm 190cm and i'm just to tall. i'm sitting a bit weird on it . My knies are sitting next to the tank. But go find a dealer and sit on it. it is for every person different. Ride save

    • @trykkermike
      @trykkermike 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I've been at a dealer, last year, and it felt like just-about okay when I sad on it. But I was thinking like, for riding long rides on it, I don't know if I would feel like my legs are bent too much on such a low bike like this...

    • @RentThisRide
      @RentThisRide  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Michael Hansen Hey hey, sorry for the delay! At that height it be pretty tight for longer rides, i feel it may interfere with your long term comfort and rideability.
