- First seen around the world on Netflix's driver competition show Hyperdrive, Saul Valencia's '72 Datsun 240z is a marvel of engineering. Classic JDM and classic American muscle meet in this one of a kind build, pushing 600HP from a turbocharged 5.3L LS V8. The work was done by Saul, his brother Oscar, and the rest of the brainiacs at SOS Customz of Oceanside, CA. What do you think of Saul's custom 240z?

Nice job, awesome paint job and the fusion of the fenders onto the body is a cool design trick.
Body work is really hard to beat!💪
just about to start this swap on my 280z, this is some great inspiration!
dragon ball z shifter is the icing on top
Growing up, I had a Toyota celica gt 84 it would fly, only the 22RE engine though. Use to race a guy with a 280 on the interstate on way to work every week. Love it!!
Freaking awesome man
Love to have a daily w/an engine like that! Stock 4banger N/A for me 😭
But it's reliable and fun!
Nobodys gonna talk bout the random guy who pops up behind that car in the back at the end of the video and just casually walks away???? Lmaooo
such a fuckin beauty!! 240 z so cleannnn! also i love the channel, hope y’all blow up n get like millions of views!!
🔥🔥🔥
WOWOW
there is definitely room under the hood and within OEM sheet metal to do a LS turbo swap so, the hole in the hood is a bit over the top.
This car is for sale in fb marketplace for 60k
I know it 1 year you postet this but my question did you cut the car to put an Ls in it? sorry for my english hope it's not so bad greetings from germany
I wanna keep it as original as possible that's why i ask
Wanna rebuild the devil z from the anime wangan midnight and in the end of the anime it has round about 770 800 hp
But i wanna make it german street ready
unfortunately this is somebody else's build. it's by SOS Customz of Oceanside, CA
I wish u guys were giving that away
Doing a '70 Charger right now instead!
wow no start up and drive. what a drag man .
Unfortunately they blew the engine a few days before we went out for the shoot 😅
@@RestoMods lol damn, this scares me about the ls build
@@RW-td2hz Don't be scared, it's moreso user error 😁
Should of kept the 240z tail lights.. but that is just my opinion
How much would something like this cost?
240z's can go for over $240K :O
Man nice car should have been a ls2 or ls3 aluminum block that truck iron block 5.3 was a cheap route
This car is all kind of sexy
💯
Pretty poor panel gaps, but the style is very cool
The gaps on the front hood? They're for show and can be closed!
280 taillights on a 240.....sacrilege.
