@@overtimearcade lol I know, you would have thought the person who did it would have at least worried about interference in the speaker. Would be shocked if there wasn't a humming sound coming from the speaker like that.
I wonder if they didn't intentionally attach it to the speaker magnet, but just loosely place it in there and it eventually attached itself to the magnet as the cabinet was moved around...?
Thanks for watching! I'm shocked the lazy genius magnetic mount survived the cabinet being transported 400 miles on its back, and then dropped on its head to unload it from my truck! 😂 th-cam.com/video/jf7lZGWEEQA/w-d-xo.html

Do you have any wrestling arcade games you can play during halftime instead? Also could you paint the sides? Since the outline is still there if you know any artists or if you are handy with a brush I'm sure you could paint it... or even do one side with you when you were playing and one with your son playing? You could have some fun with it if you are planning on keeping this and its not really rare.
I don't have any wrestling games (except for Pro Wrestling on the PlayChoice-10), but lately I've been thinking I should get one. Maybe WWF SuperStars or WWF WrestleFest... I dunno, which do you think is best? And the custom artwork for Quarterback is a fun idea, but I think I'll just leave it as-is for now and see if maybe some NOS artwork comes up for cheap someday. (The game ain't all that great anyhow haha!)
Love the videos Charlie! Hear me out. Instead of getting new Leland quarterback side art you should photoshop big stickers of your high school football photos for side art!
Glad you called this video a "de-conversion" because it's not a restoration! LOL. Throw some black laminate on the sides and get someone to repo the side art Charlie!! You can do it!!
Tecmo Bowl (especially Tecmo Super Bowl) ruined all other 8-bit football video games for me! I remember renting John Elway's Quarterback on NES after I had received the original Tecmo Bowl for Christmas or my birthday or something, and being like WTH IS THIS?? LOL
15:05 Like the kids would say, life hack 🤣🤣 (using the magnet)
Seriously! 🧲 ⚡️ 🔊

@@overtimearcade Oh good point, could be.
I guess we will never know, still funny to see though 😅
Awesome video! Is the magnetically "mounted" speaker to marquee light fixture solution laziness or genius? lol

Good job! We need a full "let's play" video!!
If I can get this monitor tuned up in time, I’ll try to do it as an alternate Super Bowl halftime show!
This video was a touchdown! 🏈🏈
Thanks! It felt more like a defensive struggle!
those are called P-clips we use them a lot for running pneumatic tubing as well
THANK YOU!!! I was drawing a blank! 😅

That would be cool, but all those photos are from the “1900s” (as my kids tell me) and super low resolution! 😭
Football Player and Football Dad huh? Sounds like we have more in common than passion for Arcade games. Good luck with conversion.
🏈 is family!
I would use a scrap marquee bar to fix light issue .
Yes, I think there are supposed to be little wooden braces that help keep the marquee in place and prevent light from bleeding through the sides!

And $400 later, I’ll have a game worth nearly $300!!!
@@overtimearcade How much are you paying for laminate?
Why, you got a hookup?
@@overtimearcade I just but it at the local lumber yard. Formica brand
I just got some Formica samples for the Q*bert that look pretty good...
