They'll keep the A340s until 2025, and it's not certain yet which aircraft will replace the remaining 5 of them. And as far as I have heard they are actually quite profitable for 777 routes with lower demand.

It sure is a beautiful place! It has a lot of space for viewing of aircraft but NY (JFK) gets a lot of diverse air traffic though 😉

I am not sure sorry haha, I was focused on filming the landing when they were :)
The jets look even more weightless when viewed from above, even the mammoth Emirates 777-300ER.
It's a shame Emirates switched to the 77W while I was there, the A380 would of been awesome 😅
I think the exact formula for aeroplane is one untill two propellar
2:06 it takes 5 APUs to lift that thing up :)

Why do they still keep their a340's? Its too uneconomical for them and i thought they're getting a350s from the lufthansa group?
They are slowly being phrased out.
