Dude o put 8+6 prop.. it hammers man.. sumbitch!! Nice job on the maiden .. yeah I threw it in the air my hand came down and killed the engine switch and I broke the prop.. so .. to the hobby shop we go, to buy another damn prop..
For AL and ELE I went with 35% Expo and 70 on D/R Regular rates and 25% Expo and 100 on D/R for High rates. Rudder 35% Expo and 100 on D/R Regular rates and 25% Expo and 125 on D/R for High rates. CG was spot on with a Zippy 2700mah stuffed all the way in the nose.
It looks like tons of fun. However, the Go Pro’s wide angle makes it look like a speck most of the time. I prefer 3D hovering and aerobatics. I won’t be flying anything that fast ever.
its a different skill to fly high speed planes ...lightning fast reflexes but back to the basics of just keeping a plane under control....3D takes a ton of skill too but its more remembering different combinations of stick movements as line of sight and orientation are not as crucial with slow and floaty 3d planes....
What type of reciever did you use? Nice flight by the way.

Thought I was one of the only ones to have planes in my kitchen lol
Eflite Havoc vs. Motion Havok, both 140mph? Nice flight!
Could you tell me the CG postion please? I'm building the plane but didn't get any instructions in the box. Thanks
What percentage did you put your dual rate and expo at by chance? Did you find the CG by trying it when it was inverted?

I hear ya but the Havok is not terribly hard to see and control at slower speeds. You don't have to fly it at 100+mph to enjoy it. : )
Nice
