That just can not happen if you want to even compete at the highest level. . Even Miraz hasn't developed enough in my opinion to bat at No. 7 let alone No. 6 but he has been our best batter this cycle. Tells you all there is to know about Bangladesh's state. . Shahadat Hossain Dipu has been given 6 test opportunities. He has batted 11 times now and averages less than Taijul who has batted 17 times in this cycle. Dipu's First Class average is only 30.58. How he has been given this many opportunities is beyond me. The only reason can not be that he's young. His highest score in Tests is 31. He made just 22 in this innings even after being dropped once. Drop him and get someone else in. . Joy averages just 18 and Zakir 17 in this cycle. You can argue about keeping Joy cause he kinda looks good sometimes and can take the shine out of the new ball most times but Zakir can not be given a place in the squad anymore after what he has achieved in this cycle. . I was so disappointed in Shadman for not making it big in this innings. We need him right now to score cause he looks like he has the game to score runs but he gets out randomly it seems like a batsman from Bangladesh's olden days. He's almost 30 so he can't be considered as a youngster who is learning the game. He needs to up his game cause the team needs him. . Jaker Ali should never have been given a test cap in the first place in my opinion. Yes he has got 2 50s now but his game will be exposed very soon I believe. . And Bangladesh now has to invest in Taijul's batting cause he needs to be the Rangana Herath type of batter at No. 8 for Bangladesh as Mehidy is gonna move up a spot at the very least.
