Small world.... I was just there July 28 - August 1 for my bachelor golf party... We golfed 4 Rounds in 5 Days...... Jasper Park Lodge > Silvertip Resort > Stewart Creek > Banff Springs.... They were all amazing!
@@heleena11 my group was divided…. Some really liked Jasper since it was the very first course we played others like Banff Springs which offers some of the best views since you are so close to the mountains base…. I really liked Stewart Creek because it was the most challenging course we played…. All the courses offered amazing views but Stewart Creek and Silvertip offered great golf for the money.
Man, I absolutely love when you play courses that allow for the audio to pick up the sound of the ball flight. That sound combined with the views on this course were outstanding!... also Awesome to see Micah's game step out into the spotlight! Could see a big difference with you just enjoying yourself. Can't wait to see where it takes you.
Banff is Hands down 1 of my Top 3 bucket list courses! With always having been an outdoorsman/Hunter who plays golf I don’t think I could pick a more beautiful course that I could play on! I’m from eastern KY and was playing one of our local custard about 30 mins away. My son goes into the woods to find some balls and comes out with a pro V1 with the Banff springs logo on the side. Pretty cool find, especially it actually came from the clubhouse at Banff Springs Golf Course!
This was some incredible golf played from a course straight out of a dream..Mac has such an entertaining golf swing, he hits these bullet hook fades with the driver, and bazooka draws with his irons..The iron play and putting from everyone was looking pga tour esc in this video! Banff is one beautiful destination! Would love to visit there some day!
Love you mac. Keep playing my man. You play to have fun and have no expectations of playing professional golf. You dabble in competition like the rest of us. Keep slinging it!!
Just a dude from Oklahoma, living his life and golfing at probably the most beautiful course ever. You give inspiration to a guy like me, also from Oklahoma!
Micah could def use one I think, he gets in his own head. When you see him playing for fun he definitely can shoot 4-6 under as soon as he plays a comp he shoots 6-8 over lol
@@bradgray4675came back to shoot 4 over the next day, not great, but better than you + first “PGA” tournament I gotta imagine there was nerves. Funny Hack Patrol commenting on better players 😂
Not to get super nerdy but intrigued to know the choice of main camera which was perfect for this panoramic course. Looked like a lot of the panning was done in post which suggests some sort of super wide angle / fisheye or even (dare I even dream) a 360?
Was in Banff 17 years ago doing mountain climbing on the side of the course with a group from works and all I wanted to do was playing golf, they refused.
I live about an hour away from this course. Awesome seeing you and Mac play somewhere so close to home! Would love to come watch you play the Mickelson invitational next season if you come back
i am 69 yrs old. havent played in ten years. but i would drag my old clubs out to play this course and pay almost any amount. gotta be the most beautiful place for a golf course in the world
Fun game we play is you get 1 of each, a swap which is you can swap any shot before the other team is in, a mulligan, a club length, make them take the worst ball but that must be said immediately after their last shot and before they are in, and finally a women's tee box. It's super fun and I think it would make a great video, but it really only works with a 4+ scramble
Has everyone seen what George Bryan did today? Makes it through the pre-qualifier into todays Monday q, fires a -5 66 and will be in a playoff against Wesley to play in a pgat event. This is what a good youtuber looks like!
If I were you, I would say Banff Springs golf course in Alberta Canada. Mac and the rest of us Canucks would like it. The Rockie Mountains , 4500 feet above sea level.
I think the lens is cool but maybe there is a time and place for it. Par 3’s looked like par 15’s, 6ft putts look to be like 60ft putts, hard to make sense of it all. Although, the place looked amazing
You got some really beautiful views on this course ! And waou the telemeter that reaches the top of the moutains, awesome ! PS : what's the brand of the telemeter again please ? Cheers ;;; PPS : it's really nice to follow your golfing journey, I like all of it (the humility, the progresses you make, your big drives, etc.), that's goot Micah, cheers
Are you going to play with Josiah again? I subbed him right after he played with you last year but he hasn't been making any videos. This course is beautiful.
Just going to pile on so the editors can see how many people don’t like the camera work for this video. Quality is fine it’s the wide angle stabilization thing going on that’s trash.
Camera B shots of approach shots to green are tough to track the ball. Probably because of the haze. But overall cinematic shot style of your vids is dope!
Enjoyed the match, but if these are your camera guys Micah, a few suggestions: 1. Get some kind of physical stabilization for the cameras. There was a lot of digital stabilization and frame wobbling, which makes me a little sick to watch. 2. The short depth of field / DOF on most of your shots was making your auto-focus work extra hard, and doesn't work well if there's more than one person in shot. Shoot with a much larger DOF / higher F-stop / slower aperture / smaller aperture.
The thing that would suck playing with Mac would be not getting to gauge club or wind data off his shots. How do you get anything out of a 40 yard hooking 8 iron into a Par 3??? Lol.

Loved seeing the Bible by your side in the Factor recording. Speaks volumes about your character to me. 😊
Course is called Banff Springs in Alberta Canada in case anyone is wondering!
Played it last summer. 100% worth it if you’re in alberta. The lemongrass towel at the end of the round is life changing
They did name the course within the first 6 seconds of the video…however it’s tiny in the left hand corner😂😂

Wide angle fish eye lens is a no go. But great video. Beautiful course!
Great to see you out playing one of our courses in Alberta Micah, hope you enjoyed your experience and will come back out here again
What a truly magical spot, great crew. Awesome round ! Baffles me how Mac even attempts to gauge his yardage with the shots he hits

Any recomendations? Going in Early June! Thoughts on Silvertip or Canmore or Brewsters?
Excited for these videos. Sometimes I forget how beautiful my home province is. All the best
Any videos with Mac Boucher content is superb. Love watching that guy play. Thank you Tig for another gem
Still waiting on a sport psychologist series. Ol Frankie from barstool did that and it was mad fun to watch

The guy just shot +15 and came dead last and missed the cut by 16 strokes. He needs a psychologist and probably some lessons
Also the results were amazing. This is what Micah has needed the whole time.

Bucket list course. Loved it since hearing about it in the early 90's and there was a popular game that had it too.
