Bob Quigley was my first fly teacher at the Fly Hutch in. Santa Clara California for two years. He was a wonderful fly tyer and his techniques he taught me. I still use to this very day. Only difference is the new materials, hooks, lines and rods. Thanks for honoring my mentor Mr. Bob Quigley. Sorry for the Mr,……Bob….grin…RIP Bob…….. ❤l❤❤
why a goose biot and not a goose biot?Iwould use 1/2 of the amount of EP fibres you used especially for a wing post. I would also use a product called Deadly Dazzle fibres.I just started using the Kapok supper fine dubbing .This stuff is super buoyant.this method is called hackle stacker....It's a good idea to half hitch at the eye so you don't unravel.I also use a half hitch tool on almost all my small flies.
