So I break my record of the number of Road Tolls you can do whilst riding a motorbike through Mexico. I leave Puebla on my Harley Davidson Road King and make my way to Tampico, its a stunning ride but filled with road tolls and armed guards with machine guns. - ตลก
Hello Dany, responding to your request for comments by Mexicans, I tell you: Mexico is a country rich in culture, diversity of races, natural resources and with the advantage of being the neighbor of the USA; however we are a country rich in corruption and lack of education, especially in the poorest population that is many. The majority of the population, fed up with the corruption of other governments and under the populist discourse (such as that of Chavez RIP, Lula Da Silva, etc.) voted for this president who has squandered economic resources giving away money (so that they continue I vote for him), spending other resources on giant works that will not contribute to the economy and that will be a permanent burden (his emblematic works for his image). Thus, the resources that reach the states are few and therefore the streets and roads are in very poor condition. As a biker I tell you that the roads that are not toll roads are more beautiful, but yes, more battered and with many speed bumps. why so many soldiers and police? Because the government doesn't want to fight with cartels and they have police everywhere without interfering, just as decoration
... by the way. Soon you are going to leave Mexico, you will miss a lot of beautiful roads and beautiful places (like road in the La Baja)...

In Monterrey try to go to Coyote Harley DAvidson, is one of the bigger HD in Mexico, you can se a lot of bikers most the weekends.

The federal roads in Mexico were given away as concession to private companies back in the 90's and early 2000's by those same previous government. Mexico's "FIFI" minority are just upset because they are not allowed to benefit from Mexico's resources that belong to the people. Don't take my word for it you can do the research. Any way! Good morning sir. Just wanted to say I completely understand about when you’re on your motorcycle, it puts you in there now. I am battling stage four cancer and it’s all I have in front of me. But when I can get on my heritage, it puts you in the now. It lets me take my mind off of my cancer situation. thank you again sir

I haven't watched at least the last 5 or 6 vlogs now. Too monotonous and predictable. Riding from resort to resort whining about tolls and roads in every one. Surely that was the last Mexico vlog or is there more of the same to come

Past and future doesn’t matter when it’s just you and the bike either traveling to a place you’ve never been to or a road you’ve been down a thousand times. Like you, if I did not have my bike I would be a lost soul. Be safe!

It's called connection to 5 senses - releases oxytocin into the body - the natural happy drug for the body :) Thats why riding makes you feel so good. I feel the same when I'm cruising the highway in my Daisy - 1969 convertible MACH 1 Mustang :)

Hi Danny! I totally agree with Jesus Gomez, to add a bit to his lines, yes is quite a rip off, the payment stations on the highway, the the road gets worse and worse, I have always seen arm military or police of all kinds on the roads, and I think yes is a way of intimidation, because is not to prevent a robbery to the $ road collectors. I double up on the best roads are away from the main roads, yes lots of humps like you tell them but the scenario is absolutely beautiful. Many riders, in Mexico, we use those roads. Also there is an App, 4Riders, many use this app and have the routes they have taken in there and you can follow or do any. Happy riding to you and all on a motorcycle everywhere!

And as a rider, you like to help other riders, if I visit on my ride other places and other countries, I will appreciate and I do help from the locals, so yes I m with you and I get you. It’s more of a presence same as the Philippines better be safe then sorry. History shows that having a presence makes it a safer place and it stops rogue activities that not only hurt the locals but the economy and tourists. I personally feel safer having them at tolls, banks and even supermarkets. Just my experience thnks and enjoy

Your vlogs are great and I watch the lot, do not stop!...So two years ago I had cancer of the esophagus and stomachs, the whole treatment for this took about one year with chemo etc . Two weeks a fter my all clear I was told it has spread to the brain, I've just had an OP for the tumors and all seems to be ok. As Danny says fuck planning just do it

Riding for me is much as you express, it's about the smell of the road, the different crops, rivers, lakes, the temperature variations as you ride through the shadows of the clouds, over bridges spanning rivers, up the passes and back down, the vibration, sound of the engine, being in the 'zone' and just laying down the millage and being in nature on my steel horse with my pack and a pocket full of dollars. There is simply nothing better. When ever I leave on a big trip my spouse always says, "Now don't forget, if you get tired just pull over and rest, there is no need to risk yourself, we want you to be safe and arrive home with great stories about your trip." The truth... I simply never get tired on the road, there is too much happening, my mind is sharp and I feel like I'm in my element more than anywhere else.
Danny funny. Him just say locals pissed about highway robbery and are robbing toll booths. Next he asks why the toll booths have armed guards.

Wanna good ride to Manila all the way to the bottom Davao hubby did it years ago and took him 12 days and the sightseeing and experience was the best for him. Compared to Thailand and Greece he did he lived the Philippines the most a must do mate

just back from an epic ride in the states; 5000kms in 15 days from Puerto Vallarta (4 rest days incl), Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico. Came in through Phoenix where Danny Wilson turned my 2022 Road Glide CVO into an S&S stage 2 sports baggers, runs awesome and many thanks for pointing him out! Soon back to USA where riding is soooooooo sweet!

Same in Argentina Danny, I lived there for a few years. Armed Police, army, security guards in every bank, post office, most shops, and supermarkets, also checkpoints every few miles. Also if you are carrying anything valuable like a to in your car they can confiscate it until you show your receipt. 😱 but I love it there the scenery is absolutely fantastic and hope you can do the Rita 40 one day. Keep moving man !! Love the series.
