- Walking London, England on a sunny winter day from outside London Bridge Station beneath the Shard to Old Street in the London Borough of Islington, passing through the City of London. Our first stop is a tour of the ever popular Borough Market, one of London’s oldest and largest food markets, with butchers, fishmongers, and cheesemakers selling fresh produce, meats, artisanal delicacies, as well as a whole variety of street food.
The walk also includes King’s College London (Guy’s Campus), crossing London Bridge, Monument to the Great Fire of London, Bank (including Bank of England, The Royal Exchange, and Mansion House), Moorgate Station, Finsbury Square, Bunhill Fields Burial Ground, Whitecross Market, and St Luke’s Church.

A very nice visit to Borough Market!!.
A magnificent market where you can buy your food supplies but also eat.
There is something for every taste!!.

On the other side of the bridge, walk through neighborhoods and streets that I still don't know well.
A busy neighborhood market and almost abandoned cemeteries and an old church which patiently awaits visitors. A very gentle and pleasant walk.

Greetings WW & all. Mum and I are at Heathrow T3 now and were able to check in long before official check in opening. That's because I'd specified Mobility Assistance for Mum. We decided to go through security very early too, as the area after Security is much nicer. Just sitting down now. Flight is not till 5:40 pm
I injured my back last night lifting my packed suitcase down the stairs and twisting. I was in incredible pain but our taxi driver stopped and bought me pain killers which after about 45 mins really helped. Hopefully it will recover just fine. Next time I take the suitcase downstairs empty and then pack. I also packed sitting twisted to the suitcase which wasn't the best idea.
Oh and today I got an email re Kew Gardens members priority booking for Christmas lights. I've already now booked for November Christmas lights at Kew, mid week and first time slot of the day.
Will watch this video as soon as I can in Vancouver. Hope all is well with you.

@@mariapotter2620 Hello Maria. Greetings from Vancouver. Well I still have some pain issues and having a doctors phone consultation today and see where to go from there. Hoping it's just a muscle strain. Btw we've had quite a bit of snow overnight and it's still coming down...and we are on a higher elevation on Burnaby Mountain. So Mum and I are staying put nice and warm at home for now. How are you doing? Hope all is well with you.
We had snow yesterday which is rare near the sea, no snow today but still freezing. Yes always keep in the warm with a hot Irish whisky or 2 🤣@@ibs5080

What a fantastic walk. Thank you. The walk up from Moorgate was fascinating. A part of the city we weren't aware of. Bunhill Fields and St Luke's are real havens. Wonderful.

Hello MWW! I love Borough Market. I watch on a 75" television & the Market as you show it everything is vivid & delicious looking. Nobody films the Market like you as you seem to inspect each vendor's stand as I look with excitment wishing I was there. I am watching it again right now. What a horrible dystopian soulless place this is. Just rows and rows of grey austere buildings. No street food, no greenery, no free public places to sit. Everyone dressed in black. Depressing as hell. Like rats in a maze.
