English is my second language, but I understood at least the title of the song way back when i was dating my now wife, I was a very shy guy and could not express in words what I wanted to say..so I used this song ..even after his passing this great man helped me out..I think that many more can relate to it..

I love to watch your wonderful and perfectly blended, intricate and technically challenging, acoustic guitar, finger-picking licks, especially the ones on your awesome vintage Martin D-35 guitar. You kinda blow me away with your excellent performance of this tune. I own and play a Brazilian rosewood D-35 myself that I bought new in 1968. It’s nice to see your beautiful Martin guitar so prominently displayed. I noticed on several other videos that Croce himself seemed to like Martin acoustic guitars, too. Bravo, amigos!
