Talking heads are talking heads, Gute drafted well, he addressed needs and depth especially with a new defensive system. They rarely draft “sexy” but they’ve been relevant for 3 decades now so…

I'll never forget Colin's JLove take. Can't forgive him for that one.

Watching GB's defense for the last decade (and a half) has been a special hell. Its like watching great players put into a position to fail by defensive schemes so old they are on life support. Then you watch other teams with deeper mediocrity at position be put in positions to succeed and your left thinking "They really need to stop hiring these coordinators based on what they did 10 years ago."

Dude I love that you cover Cowherd’s stuff. Respectfully, I’m not the biggest fan of his. Your unbiased reporting (given that you’re a fan of his) is much appreciated.

Josh Jacob’s is the security of defenses game plan for Love. He is a top 5 back that can take over games. Will a boy help open things up for love

Collin flips more than a damn pancake

We remade our safety room, better. We remade our linebacker room, better. We restocked our oline, better. Remade our rb room, better. Special teams gets an influx of linebackers and safeties, better. Nice offseason, youngest team grows up a tad, better, go pack go!

I used to listen to Cowturd all the time about 12 years ago when Rodgers was a young in.

I'm really glad that the Packers have Michael Pratt. If J. Love fails, or he decides to leave the Packers, they'll have Michael Pratt (or Sean Clifford) to continue. Clifford reminds me of Don Majkowski, and Pratt reminds me of Lynn Dickey.

There’s nothing sexy about drafting safeties, IOL, and LB’s. Yet that’s what this team needed. Gutekunst hit on so many skilled players the last couple of drafts. And more importantly he hit on Jordan Love. Gutekunst knows what he’s doing..

Vince Lombardi said that the most important player is the QB, and the 2nd most important player is the backup QB. More true than ever in the passing game of the NFL today. :)

Regardless of what any one thinks they addressed their positions of need and that'd what matters most

It's not Jordon Love opposing defenses have to figure out, it's Matt LaFleur! The draft has strengthened GB on both sides of the ball, and considering they were a game away from the NFC championship last year, that's getting close to where every team wants to go...

Quarterbacks transitioning from college to pro is a real crapshoot - a lot of great college players bust in the NFL and there are surprises both ways. The Packers have (in part) been fortunate. If Rodgers left and Bret Hundley stepped in the story would be very different. Love looks great but he's not a "lock" yet. He will be soon if this year remains on the current path.

Crazy thing is we’re still waiting for at least one of them young receivers to emerge as a for sure WR1. Rn the offense is an attack coverages kinda offense. Spread the wealth, no featured players for opposing defenses to key in on week to week.

  • @markschaller9093

    God bless excellent work

I have no complaints about the Packers 2024 draft class. Brian Gutekunst tackled the Packers 3 biggest needs, the offensive line, linebacker, safety, and multiple times. But beyond the specific players, I love the traits that the Packers emphasized. On defense, at linebacker and safety, there was an emphasis on adding physical and aggressive football players as the Packers underwent not only a scheme fit under Jeff Hafley but a change in mentality as well. On offense, versatility along the offensive line was again prioritized, and when it comes to the construction of that starting 5, the Packers have quite a few more options now than they did prior to the 2024 NFL draft. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Jordan Love didn’t have a healthy roster on the Offensive side, that’s the scary part that no one brings up.
