Whattttt?! Never expected that swoon-worthy shout out! Crushing right back attcha Omar. Was so excited to see you shooting this camera in your last video, only to be topped by this one!
I have this same setup and it truly is wonderful! Purchased the GFX50s back when it came out and never felt the need to upgrade the body. Reminds me of the Contax 645.
That's the one I have! I also had the Mitakon lens but I sold it because the combo was too heavy. However, seeing what you've done with it makes me regret that I sold it.
Last month I decided to try film and shoot some rolls I had on my fridge since.... 1998. Got an F80 with a couple of lens for the price of an SD card. Had fun. A friend told me he had some 20 years old camera gear on a bag that was pretty much with no use. Loaned it to me. Got an F5 on it. Plus an 18mm. And a 85mm 1.8 with lots of character (read fungus). Had fun again. This was getting problematic. Saw an F3+FM10 bundle being sold. Made an offer, Got a great deal with the DW-3 waist level finder. I'm now officially in trouble, Send a couple of Ektachrome to develop, have a Fujifilm 100 on the F3 plus an Agfa 100 on the F80, and 2 TRI-X probably in really bad shape because it was not on the fridge. So Omar... don't try film. Really don't. This is quite addictive. On man... I need t go and take a few more pictures with the F3. The shutter sound... and the F5? I need a fix. Bad. And now on a serious note... I now take my X100V (or X-E4) and a Film camera and obviously I make more pictures with the Fujifilm but I'm having a lot of fun with film. Its a whole new mindset. Every pictures costs you money. So you tend to try and be sure that its something you really want to spend money on. We don't know what will be on the film, we don't even know if the film is reasonably ok to have anything on it when using expired film... but I'm counting the days to get the Ektachrome back and see the results. I was not new to film. Back in the late 90 early 2000 I developed my own film at home, printed it, the works. I would send hours to print 4 pictures on 30x40cm paper. Perhaps I should start to develop again at home. Did I said I was in trouble already?

Thank you. It was so fun watching the video. Brilliant images as usual.
Thanks for the shoutout! Was great to connect in NYC recently as well!
Will we get a Omar/Ben video??
Thank you for the good vibes in each video Omar and congrats with new camera
I've had this camera for 4-5 years and adore it. I keep thinking about moving up to a 100S or S2, but somehow I just enjoy this one.
Zone focusing is a wonderful thing, when done right. Long before any AF came out. 🙂

Stop influencing me to pick up Fuji’s “bigboi”, Omar!” 🤣

The OG 50s also has a battery grip available!
nice video 🙂
I had the 50R for 2 years. wonderful camera for landscapes
it's well worth picking up the EVF attachment - it's bit of a game changer
Great video! I think seeing the first digital Fujifilm camera would be interesting too
I love its smaller little sister... X-H1.
I use my GFX 50s for scanning 120 film!

Omar did you send any of these photos to the people? Like the fellas or the couple?
Don't sleep on those photos where you missed focus. If you look at old street photo books the focal point is often super off!
three little letters... y e t - resistance is futile
'Chrome' slows the camera down so I set it to 'off'.
