I love that Prue and Paige never fully let their guard down when it came to Cole, it’s something that they have in common even though never meeting each other, Piper and Phoebe should’ve apologized to Paige after realizing he was still evil.
No matter who many times I watched this series, I can never get over the way his lips keep changing in this episode. It went from glossy, then dry, then glossy again, then dry again, then very glossy. LOL! 👄😂
I would've loved to see Prue around with these episodes that would have been cool. Prue would have believed her. MAYBE not right away but she would have been cautious after hearing about it the first time.
So the same as Piper and eventually Phoebe. They didn't believe her because they honestly didn't want to. Life seemed like it was moving nicely, but after awhile Piper came around. Phoebe only did when she felt the evil finally. The same happens when they try and protect her from Richard. She didn't want to hear any of it.
Um...can we please talk about how Phoebe is all over cole while an innocent is having a panic attack and dying right in front of them lol. Like, what's going on sweetie?!? Its giving desperate amd gross
Yea. They charmed ones, especially Pheobe go from being the protectors of the innocent to losing an innocent every episode and the complaining about having to save innocents. Like I love charmed, but I don't want the charmed ones saving me lol
Nah. Prue didn't believe Phoebe when she said she never touched Roger but fully believed Roger. So you can't say Prue, if she was alive during this time and having seen Cole support and protect her family, would've immediately believed Paige if she didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
@@BlackGirlMarvelthis is not a Roger situation and if you recall Prue didn’t fully trust Cole either had Prue been alive Paige would have an ally in Prue as she wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss Paige instincts piper and especially Phoebe were so quick to do this why I couldn’t stand Phoebe’s in later seasons but that’s a story for another time
Apologize for what? Not believing her? WE know she was right all along, but they didn’t. They thought she was just influenced by the demonic power she was infected with. And, you know, after you’re forced to help your sisters vanquish your husband… you aren’t really in the mood for your sister’s ’I told you so’ or focused on ‘apologising’ for not believing her months ago. 😞
@@dmf1301 I think the person means overall they didn't apologize to her overall after everything that happened and her almost dying and NOT listening to her at all, she DEFINITELY deserved a BIG apology
Cole didn't hate her or Prue. Its never indicated that he did. The Source did cause without her he would've succeeded in many ways. She's thwarted him by reconstituting the PO3 and then by almost outing him. I think when "Cole" came back he had some of the Source's emotions, add on all the demonic powers on top of that he was the Source 3.0 lol
When this episode aired back in the day I didn't realized how important it would be to me until the episode ended. After getting introduced to Paige this season I felt neutral about her character and this was the episode that I finally fully excepted Paige/Rose on the show. Her performace blew me away, and I felt for the charcter so much! Side note I wonder if Prue and Paige's insticts about Cole are magical because both of their powers come from their minds and they are not blinded by love and magic like Pheobe.
And then people claiming Cole was not evil and was "done dirty". Pish tosh. Given any amount of power he'd turn evil in literal hours. He was a sociopath even after his "demon half" was gone, and was never really good. He was just obsessed with Phoebe enough to tolerate her sisters. This is the same Paige that helped save his life at the beginning of the season.
Well during this time Cole is essentially dead or dying, as he's more The Source masquerading as Cole. But when Cole came back, he was just a demon with Cole's memories and emotions and that love for Phoebe warped and turned to obsession like Alec did with Daisy.
IM GLAD SOMEONE OTHER THAN ME FEELS THIS WAY!!!!! Some Charmed fans loveCole’s sweaty fire balls so much that they pull the sympathy card out for him every chance they get. It’s annoying to see!
Oh man this episode pissed me off so much. Like you’d think they’d learn to trust Paige’s instincts since they’ve been right before - like hello, demon trophy maker? Also if prue were there she’d definitely feel what Paige is feeling or eventually listened Paige. Like uugghhh Edit I do think, if it were up to me, id make it so that the MINUTE Cole was approached by the seer or the MINUTE he got possessed, he would’ve told Phoebe and her sisters-they would’ve tried to save him. But Instead he chose to not tell them and chose to remain possessed and just gave into it. Like imagine getting a story line where we save Cole instead of watching …well whatever this episode and later episodes were. I know the ‘save Cole’ thing has been done before with Belthazor but it could be written differently. Idk
Gaslighting aside, cole was always about the fight and less about his human job. Although he worked for a high profile law firm the real cole would be more than happy to help in the demonic fight and couldn’t stand being on the sidelines. This further proves that the writers made it way too easy that the source/cole tricked everyone except Paige.
I don't think so. Piper and Phoebe have been through so much. I don't think it was written well, but I saw it as them just wanting to have some peace. Prue's death, finding Paige, "killing the Source", Piper and Leo working on kids, Phoebe getting married. I think they wanted to focus on the happy and Paige bringing in negatives they just dismissed. I do agree lazy writing but it's in there that Phoebe's intuition caught something but with the chocolates and being literally seduced by evil, she got swayed. Paige caught it because she is the fifth wheel and she's not as distracted as the couples are. She can see what they can't. Her focus is solely on innocents and her job periodically lol Makes sense she's the one to sus out the Source.
@ you say you don’t agree yet put forward points that you do agree. Ok let me use something else as an example. When the sisters get possessed or there is an imposter they notice the little things that don’t make sense. Sometimes not fast enough but they do. Cole’s character did a complete shift and yes paige notices due to multiple reasons but piper, leo and phoebe who knows cole longer just dismissed everything. Leo at least should have sense something especially since they bonded in the first half of season 4. Then all of a sudden he is actively trying to separate the p3 when phoebe was thought the weakest by evil and ultimately want her not fighting demons. It shouldnt have taken them until the coronation to realize paige was right but it did make for good drama, i will admit.
This is why I never felt bad about Cole. His and phoebe relationship was getting annoying. I’m happy we got a happy ending with the angel of destiny revealing Piper’s pregnancy
I feel bad for Paige here too... i wonder again if these lines were meant for PRUE since her contract was for 4 seasons.... i really like this episode, but "Bite Me" is even better imo.
This is pretty bad. How Cole harassed Paige. He even turned into Leo. It's painful. Especially what he says to Paige. But she didn't know that,we did. I agree with comments, that wasn't Cole abymore. He's possessed.
I hate Cole is being blamed, He literally took in the Hollow which absorbed the Source's evil power to save the Charmed One's live. Got possessed by it and they didn't try to save him at all. Even while he was posseessed it was Cole's love for Phoebe that kept the Source from killing them.
