Some quick notes - This is obviously a beta build of Friday the 13th The game so we expect stuff to change, especially some of the audio glitches we ran into. We're also experimenting with the best way to record audio, in this video we tried using just in-game voice and in the next we will be testing using Discord audio instead. Let us know what you prefer in the comments! :D
The four victory conditions in Friday the 13th The Game are call the cops and escape when they arrive, fix a car and drive away from one of the two exits, survive for 20 minutes, or kill Jason. We're hoping to show how to kill Jason soon! :)
Jason can use four abilities currently, and several kill animations. His first ability lets him teleport anywhere on the map after a cooldown, the second gives him vision of anyone making noise or running / swimming about (if they're in a building the building lights up instead), the 3rd lets him shadow walk short distances to surprise enemies, and the 4th (Rage) turns him into a virtual bulldover and allows him to break down doors in an instant.

I just began watching the clips, trailers, and reactions to the game and movie today. This game is gold than the awful NES version of it.

Friday the 13th is here! We stayed up all night recording this for you guys, and holy hell did I have a lot of fun playing. Jason is an absolute beast, even when going up against up to seven camp counselors. His abilities allow him to strike typically with total surprise with usually only music and some visual glitches alerting the counselors that he's getting close until he's seen or under a flare.
As mentioned in the description and in the video we tried this session using in-game voice primarily. We figured it'd be fun because it is proximity based, meaning that you can only hear nearby people and Jason can hear survivors as well if they freak out. The next video has a little bit of a hybrid of in-game voice and Discord, depending on who's the killer. What do you guys think of the game, and us using in-game voice? :)

This game is only FAINTLY similar to Dead By Daylight. It plays, and feels completely different.
Tristan Matheny DBD isn't scary to me, it's more goofy, or not serious to me. It's alittle scary but not much. This game however is scary! I love how scary they made Jason! It's amazing and the music makes it worse!
Kermit The Frog The intensity is what makes this for me. I feel like I am in a Friday the 13th movie, and since I love the franchise...that is key. I really hope they fix some of the bugs, and hopefully this game will have a dedicated playerbase...it should since it is 'cross platform'.

It seems different enough from DBD to justify it's existence, interested to see what else they do to vary it up. There are a lot of different versions of Jason, it'd be fun to see a level set on the spaceship from Jason X for example, with a matching futuristic Jason of course.
Spiral Jumper would be cool if they brought out some of the weapons that were used by Jason in some of the movies like the spear or the hedge trimmer from part 7.
+Jason they do have a spear it's a different Jason costume. There's a different weapon for each skin
Spiral Jumper look at the kickstarter for the game, and you'd see that the level was an actual goal if they reached enough backers. I don't met that milestone though.

The thing I love about this game is that there are multiple ways to find a way to survive it looks like. In this video alone we got two with the car and the police. I freaking love DBD but that game requires generators which requires a decent team until you are left with only one person. Is there another way to beat Jason like killing him in this game? Or any other ways to escape?
Yeah, you can kill Jason by stunning him after you get his mask off, then shooting him in the face.
Are you allowed to turn off voice chat, so that when you're talking to dead people or just talking to us, you wouldn't be shouting and making yourself a beacon for Jason?
Like at 6:42, Jason was right there and I know Bryce's character screamed which revealed your position somewhat, but you also blew your cover so badly when you started talking.

T0tal Sh1t At the time of this video. He did not have push to talk on, so everytime he talks someone is bound to hear him. During this video and the ones before this, he never used push to talk, so I thought it may have not existed.
