Billy is an absolute legend, if there was a techno hall of fame he'd be in there, years ago. The amount of great music billy has put out through his mixes & labels tells the story of a bloke who's loved his music over the years, still playing vinyl as well. I'd love a flick through his collection. We need an early 2000's techno set from Billy, fold should make this happen imo.

Lucky enough to see Billy Nasty at The Waterbear club in Brighton this past weekend at Sonic Alchemy. Incredible soundsystem and an epic set. Great to be back in clubs again.

My 1st experience of billy nasty was his essential mix.it was fantastic. At the time I was going to the Orbit Morley.Billy was booked to play..I was so looking forward to him.im sad to say he was very disappointing.....Don't get me wrong his set in any other club would have been great .But the Orbit The bar was set very high.sad to say I left disappointed.However,Billy returned.I went,not expecting a great night.How wrong I was.he was fantastic.A few years later my best friend was living in Austria.I got a phone call it was him in a club with billy!I was gobsmacked.i had a very interesting conversation with Billy.he admitted he got the crowd wrong that 1st time in the Orbit.but he certainly rectified the next time he was there.Ive got the utmost respect for Billy Nasty great guy.Fantastic DJ.

Orbit in Morley, Leeds might have something to say about that. I went to both and I'd say it pipped the back room (Sweeties podiums) because of the variety of global techno legends they got over in the period I went 1993-4.

Then the complex.... but never the same . UK was the definitive techno club. Never seen the same since.
