One of the reason why many of sachins glorious centuries resulted in India losing is that Indian middle order was full of fixers. Such a shame. We used to prey for them and cry when we lose and this people sold it nation for money
The match where mongia and prabhakar played slowly in the death overs and remained not out but didnt attempt to win the one dayer was clearly fixed, prabhakar got a hundred in that match

Cronje was the only player to admit and come out and say he was involed and the cricketing world slammed him . He was honest and the only player high profile player to come and say . And look at Indian players that were involved still denying and some have become MPs and coach and etc .

I can only tell you the players who were honest at that time, they were Rashid Latif, Moin Khan, Shahid Afridi, Saqlain Mushtaq, Mohammad Yousuf, and Younus Khan. These were honest people. Beside them Saeed Anwar used to fix matches in early 90's, but later he stopped all of this when he started to come near the religion and after that he played honestly.

Kapil dev was given benefit of doubt and accusations were withdrawn. Kapil had already retired by then and was a legend. So there was no risk for the BCci.
Few people know that in first week of april 2000 , ICC celebrated cricket week for whole week, organized also a match between rest of the world vs asia 11, in which indian pakistani and sri lankan were in same team just few days before this fixing incident
That match was for the Bangladesh flood relief.

you should write these facts... they are quite interesting.....
A good number of senior players in the Indian cricket team in the 80s-90s were involved in match fixing. Some were banned after the allegations but imo many others weren't because there wasn't much proof or somehow were removed. If there's smoke, there's fire. All the players' name which were mentioned during this time in match fixing had something to with it even if they weren't involved directly.
