He can differentiate his real and fake personality and change from one to the other in seconds. (I think I saw him do that in a vid behind the scenes of recording one of his stage performances)
The power of Taemin’s title tracks is indisputable. Every one of his solo albums is a masterpiece, Press It included. His whole discography (I believe it’s more than 80 songs at this point) is a no skip for me and that’s saying a lot about the quality artist that he is! The best artist in Kpop in my opinion.

It’s called Duality and no one does it better than Taemin. Once I got to know more about him as a person I was increasingly surprised by his VM’s coz his personality is a lot more chilled IRL. But he has a dark intense side. He keeps that for his art. Love it!
I feel bad for this MV. It had a really high production and dedication and only reached 16M after 8 years. When it was released I thought it would reach over 50M at least at this point. It deserved better, the best Taemin's MV and album in my opinion.

I absolutely love the fact that the backup dancers are so involved with the actual music video, it's awesome. I wish they did that more often, backup dancers don't get enough credit or recognition.
This is actually a really good story line which surprised me. What I'm seeing is some allusions to The Picture of Dorian Grey which is apparent with the victorian room scenes. Then they took a modern approach where Taemin finds himself being consumed by the city or modern society. It shows him fighting with himself very much like the novel. I really like this mv because the allusion and symbolism are easy to grasp and not so convuluted that I had to think much or not follow the storyline at all. Nice job SM.
+naomiailinkwok Yeah sure its been some time since I read it but the general plot is about Dorian Grey, a somewhat narcassitic young man (wink, wink-taemin kissing himself) who is relatively naive when he goes to stay with Basil. He's basil's muse because of his beauty and so a portrait is made in his likeness. Well he begins to be exposed to the corruption of society and falls in love, but she ends up dead. He then decides to just engage in every vice like sex, drugs, and parties. As he continues to succumb to his vices, his portrait becomes more disfigured and this pretty much turns him a bit crazy. He's almost fighting his own image(two taemins) until he stabs basil and the portrait which leads to his own death. I left out some things, but I recommend reading it because I really enjoyed it. Oh and its by Oscar Wilde btw. Hope this helped a bit

It’s called Duality and no one does it better than Taemin. Once I got to know more about him as a person I was increasingly surprised by his VM’s coz his personality is a lot more chilled IRL. But he has a dark intense side. He keeps that for his art. Love it!

I'm not going to argue who's the best dancer in SM because that's just going to become a useless war when everybody has their own biases. What I am going to say though is that THIS MAN CAN DANCE. This is actually a really good story line which surprised me. What I'm seeing is some allusions to The Picture of Dorian Grey which is apparent with the victorian room scenes. Then they took a modern approach where Taemin finds himself being consumed by the city or modern society. It shows him fighting with himself very much like the novel. I really like this mv because the allusion and symbolism are easy to grasp and not so convuluted that I had to think much or not follow the storyline at all. Nice job SM.

+naomiailinkwok Yeah sure its been some time since I read it but the general plot is about Dorian Grey, a somewhat narcassitic young man (wink, wink-taemin kissing himself) who is relatively naive when he goes to stay with Basil. He's basil's muse because of his beauty and so a portrait is made in his likeness. Well he begins to be exposed to the corruption of society and falls in love, but she ends up dead. He then decides to just engage in every vice like sex, drugs, and parties. As he continues to succumb to his vices, his portrait becomes more disfigured and this pretty much turns him a bit crazy. He's almost fighting his own image(two taemins) until he stabs basil and the portrait which leads to his own death. I left out some things, but I recommend reading it because I really enjoyed it. Oh and its by Oscar Wilde btw. Hope this helped a bit
