Thanks for the video, this helped me today when I needed to change the central heater vent grille which had broken and needed replacing. You have to pop the radio panel out to get to the grille trim clips, so this video was a godsend. Thanks very much for producing and posting it! 😊 👍
Trying to remove a pioneer aftermarket screen like the one you show at 5:20 and it’s got the bronze metal things. Any idea how you’d go about removing the aftermarket screen?
Yes you need the correct release keys, trying to push anything else down the sides will damage the release mechanism and make it very difficult to remove. You need the flat style keys which can be bought from most car shops or eBay/amazon. This is assuming it has been installed the correct way in the first place.
Does the Swift stereo, work in most any other vehicles?. I bought a Swift 2 days ago, it's already got some other system fitted. Factory stereo came with the car, and thinking of selling it to my mate, but thought I'd make sure it works elsewhere first.. Cheers for the upload

The display on mine only shows when the units button is pressed. It does have an aftermarket CD player in it, not sure if it is at all related?

Hey, thanks for putting together such an informative video! Do you know if there's any way to adapt the standard radio with Bluetooth/aux input? I'd prefer to keep the stock look, but I'm getting really fed up of how naff my Bluetooth FM adapter sounds. Cheers for any advice, and no worries if you're too busy to get back to me!
Watching 7 months later so not sure if you've done anything yet, but you can get a Bluetooth FM transmitter and tune in to your phone from the radio :)

These cars don't belong to me,they are just bookings via a company I work for.
@@PJsprojects i would install a roof if I was confident it wouldn't cause rust under the car (they usually have plastic piping to drain rainwater)

You would need the extra parts, consult your retailer and they will advise on cost.

I bought the CT24SZ02. How does this differ? It’s what came up when I entered my reg plate. Doesn’t seem to come with a cage though?

@@izzytodd1209 Doesn’t come with the cage, you can just use the existing cage on the factory radio. Was really simple in the end!
