Settings aren't usually the sexiest way to improve your League of Legends gameplay. But they sure are one of the biggest ways to get you into bad habits! In this video I'm aiming to breakdown some of the best League of Legends Pro Players settings and why they use them, so you can fine tune your setup for maximum gamer juice.
P.S. Yes faker uses mouse acceleration. No you shouldn't use it as well.

1600 DPI - 50 in game ; I also played on 800 DPI - 60 in game for a bit, but ended up back at 1600 DPI. Peaked D1 season 9.

I actually think mouse acceleration IS better.
Imagine ur throwing a ball into a trashcan. Your muscle memory not only takes into consideration how FAR it should move your hand, but also how FAST to do it in order to hit the trashcan.
This is exactly what mouse acceleration does, it takes into account the speed of which you move your mouse, so you can move fast to the other side of the screen and then slowly micro-adjust onto your target
I use no mouse accel btw, but mainly because I have been brainwashed. This might be the reason why faker uses it
My answer is a little late but i have to say thats a terrible analogy, first of all windows mouse acceleration is really bad, its like if you were to throw the ball at an average speed and it would go as expected but then you throw it slightly stronger and it goes twice as fast. The curve on windows mouse acceleration is very scuffed which kinda makes creating muscle memory impossible as the feedback is so inconsistent. Now if you were to talk about mouse acceleration with a third party software it does have some benefits in shooters, if you have a very low sensitivity for precision but need to do fast 180s in some situations then mouse accel will let you do that, problem is you cannot flick too fast when you try to stay on your lower sens as it will throw of your aim. Now taking all that into consideration league is not a game requiring as much precision as a shooter like said in the video, making the benifits of a very low sens with hight precision less useful, and tge only case where you would switch from low sens to hight sens would be when moving your camera which if you are able to do on your low sens just is not worth using mouse accel for. If your sens is hight enought to be reactive and low enought to be precise while hitting skillshots, mouse accell will only throw of your aim depending on how you flick onto a target.

Mouse size, shape, coating...and others, mousepad (speed or control), the way u hold the mouse, mouse feets, this things are very important for the final result. High dpi gives different feeling on control or speed mousepads.

In 2D games like League your resolution also affects your mouse speed, but in shooters not

long before lol i was a counter strike settings purist very very aware of all the gear and settings that translates into good gameplay, and i was very aware of the windows mouse accel checkbox and have always preached that it should be off, this video gave me a revelation - wait, mine isn't on, is it? i can't remember the last time i checked, but i'm sure i look over it everytime i review my setup
it was on. i have no idea how long it was on. my mouse feels weird now. i'm so pissed.
The path to healing can be long but in the end we all defeat mouse acceleration 🫡
Just wanna point out that a lot of korean players play with enhanced pointer precision on.
Faker, Impact, Teddy all play with it on on a high dpi
I’d argue that only finding 3-4 players in Korea vs the other 98% doesn’t really mean ‘a lot’. It’s not an easy thing to get used to and windows mouse acceleration is notoriously shit.
If you really like mouse acceleration for some reason use a better version than windows, there are some programs out there which have smoother algorithms.
Ty alot for this video i rly look to improve on this for rly long time , wanted to ask is it important all to just be accurate and be fast at clicking? Btw im used to play at lower dpi bcs im accurate so do i need alot of space for hand and move mouse more then like u said in the video
Think I answered this on stream as well, but it's a combination of accuracy and fast clicking. Although just clicking more isn't usually necessary it's more about "good" clicks and "bad" clicks. Basically if you start to pay more attention to where you are actually clicking you can reduce the number of clicks you need by choosing mainly the "good" clicks.

That is a really subjective setting but I guess that's up to you. Honestly as long as you are able to move the camera where you need anything goes. But that's a good question.
pros always use 1:1 ratio. So if mousespeed 50,camera speed also 50
I recently got a g pro wireless, going from a rival 700 which is double the weight and cabled. The g pro is also alot "faster" on its feet, so now my 800 dpi 50 ingame feels much faster and im thinking i may need to lower it, i had no idea these things mattered so much. Also nice video.
Yeah I used a friends 700 once and it’s a chunky mouse. Just make sure when you go from heavy mouse to light you’re not over stressing your wrist. It’ll increase the strain if you play a lot. Try to use your arm for repetitive movements.

Yeah I'm trying 800 now, there's no way you play like this. I'd need to up my IG speed to 90 to play with a 800 dpi
Well obviously you aren’t used to it, so it’s gonna feel hard at first.
And if you need super high dpi chances are you are using your wrist to move your mouse a lot which is not a good thing if you play a lot of games for long periods. Using your arm reduces the chance of repetitive strain injury and carpal tunnel

I literally have to swipe 3x across to get the mouse from one edge of the screen to the other end unless I'm using huge mouse strokes which takes up half of my desk which is 60 inch long lol. However my family members say the same thing about me. They be like "bro how tf are you playing the game with this high dpi lol" so I get you

Nothing is stupid if it works for you. You gotta take a look at your own setup and if anything is bothering you use the tips in the video to fix it!

shoot i build up memory on 3250 dpi 50 in g now im stuck on platinum
It doesn’t take as long as you’d think to change your muscle memory and you’re wrists will thank you for it so I say go for it mate 🫡
@@Raizinslol somehow when i use low dpi (wich i used alot past seasons) around 1000/30 or 800/50 my wrist and fingers start hurting but since i changed to high dpi ive got no problems at all.. (currently 2000/50)

@@Raizinslol You can test it, go in-game and set ur sens to 30. Then open up mouse settings. See if anything changed. It should be like that with all mice yeah.

What is screen size they use, what is in your opinion best and why
From my experience in competitive league and games a 24 inch monitor with 1920x1080p 144hz is the standard. Any bigger and you need to move further to see the things on screen, and any smaller and you have the opposite.
With the distance I think most people are comfortable sitting at from their monitor I think 24 inch monitors are the most popular.

i tried all dpi settings, the best for me is only 700 dpi if my dpi is higher than that I can't target accurately
