16:15 ... in the firearms world, it is called "jerking the trigger". In anticipation to fire, instead of an easy squeeze of the trigger people jerk the trigger back causing that "fat finger" response. A smooth click on the mouse, just as a smooth squeeze of the trigger on a gun, greatly increases accuracy. If you jerk the trigger, you will miss pretty much every time you fire.
The reason he pinned the Gonkiewicza in the track is because there is the upper part that is just above the track. That part that is above the track on this specific tank has 50-100mm of armor and that went straight through because of that. Honestly, that was like a 500Iq play because when the Gonkiewicza is going down the hill at the angle he was at, it was nearly a perfect shot to hit that. Good thing to know actually. Good video!
14:29 - Claus, that's the reason why you hold a pistol with both hands if you seriously wanna hit something. While doing it the hand that holds the grip presses forward and the supporting hand presses in the opposite direction. And when you are skilled you also aim at the target with both eyes.
Claus was talking about target shooting, not about self defense or anything like that. I live in Europe and we do target shooting with one hand, at 25 meters/27,4 yards. If you shoot one-handed your technique is very important; pushing the gun a little to one side is the most common mistake made.
The shot went through the TDs track and into the hull, it's a fairly common weak point in casement TDs where the hull overhangs the track and the shot is coming from "below" into the tank
I'm blonde, I like long walks on the beach, watching classic horror movies, reading, riding motorcycles, playing World of Tanks, and being a subscriber to Claus' channel.
Fat Finger: It's all about gross muscle movement vs. fine (also referred to as fine motor skills). In a period of excitement or adrenaline, your gross muscles take over and cause big movements.
Guys like the UDES drive me nuts. When the game starts, I don't know how many times a team mate, with a faster tank passes me, then cuts right in front of me. Like this idiot UDES. He wanted to go right, so what does he do? He passes his team mate on the left, then cuts him off. You have to be special kind of stupid, to do this. This especially pisses me off when I am in a light, and I want to do initial spotting. The game will start, I will start driving towards the usual spotting area, and half the team cuts me off, and/or runs into me. By the time I get out of the mess of tanks, the enemy light is already there, and my team mates are screaming at me to spot. Well I would already be spotting if you idiots knew how to drive.
Claus, there is a difference between clicking "sharply" on the mouse to fire and squeezing "smoothly" when firing for target practice with a firearm once you have your target and sights aligned.
I'm only 61 and don't have FFS (fat finger syndrome) but I DO had ROSTTBS... (Rush of Sh_t to the Brain Syndrome)! GGs Claus, and all other players out there!!! 😃
Hi Claus: First thing first. For the first battle. No 1. I have never experienced anything like that before, not to say with the FV 215B. This tank has no armor. Only in certain situations were you can side scrape. NOT GOING UP THE HILL. No. 2. Therefore, the enemies were most of them bots. E.g. check the enemy 260. If you try to go up that hill, even with a better tank, you get killed in 5 seconds. No 3. So, you want to tell us that in order to get such battles we need a net speed of 15 and below. Otherwise, the shoots will miss. So, this game is for the
Hey Claus - 1st Match: I'd say that was a perfect example of just how bloody random this game is. That FV should have been absolutely murdered by the red-line TDs; after all, that's why they sit back there. It's a slot machine in action, and he hit the 3-plum line. 2nd match: "So many people don't play to the strength of their tanks." I believe that's definitely the case and is a result of the large number of tanks available. Everyone goes after the newest shiny object and doesn't spend the long training time needed to truly master any particular machine. Hey, even my 79-year-old fingers look great. But I agree the "fat finger" phenomenon is a real issue, so, as commented below, the modern pistol shooting stance includes a two-handed hold. Moving the trigger finger ( generally the same as the left mouse button finger) can easily cause the entire hand to move, whether old or young. When I began playing Wot, I was also into accessorizing my PC (steering wheel & peddle set for driving games and a HOTAS joystick for the flight games), so I added a simple foot pedal to mimic the left mouse button. This was helpful and allowed me to concentrate the mouse on simply aiming.
My father in law was US army during the Korean war (he spent his stint in Germany). H kept missing the target during training. His instructor watched him for a couple shots then said, " I know what your problem is, we need to cut off these two fingers". He was pulling to the side when pulling the trigger. He also was a large man. His wedding ring was size 17. lol
It's not fat fingers, it's zooming out just before firing which maximizes your chances of hitting bullseye, because the longer you stay aimed, the more the shot will deviate. Zooming out has the same effect as a snap shot and your aim is bang on
"They stun you when you push in the bush! Everybody must get stunned!" 😀 And here's another Klaus banger "Fat finger! WaaWaawaa! He's the man with widest touch! Such a wide Finger! WaaWaaWaa!" Klaus! Soon you will be able to publish your first album! Perfect for X-Mas. You can name it "Santa Klaus is coming!" 😀
My theory is that it was a target rich environment, confusingly rich. The randomness of the game just happened to have all the opponents make snap choices for a different target at each moment in time when the FB215b might have been chosen. It's a form of the safety of being in a herd. There are many choices and a wildebeest can get lucky now and then, never being the one that is picked. GGs.
I think even without equipment my 416 was over, or at least near 50% stationary camo. One of my builds has a rammer, binocs and camo net. ~68% camo, nice reload, and huge view range, makes for a very good sniper. Or in a pinch, a decent spotter. I wish it had better mobility or depression or full turret traverse, but then it might actually be considered op.
Claus. I used to play with a cordless mouse. To establish connection on bluetooth, which frequently disconnected, input is required. Switched to wired after it cost too many games.
I have noticed that even if I sit perfectly still and fire (with some of my tanks) the shells wildly go wherever. If I move and it re-aims, it will hit where the reticle is.🤷♂️
The polish tds all have a weak plate above the tracks that is only 20mm thick so you hit it with anything ap it will go through also the same for the grom
You are asking for subsciptors ??? people-what-subscribe in a straight-forward and polite manner and more so than most people. It's just a thing that is expected, but still you are doing it with a good style. BTW, I've been subscribed for many years. I stopped playing at least three years ago, but I still watch you. Thank you for the entertainment.
I am a big guy with big hands, my fingers are proportional! My mouse sensitivity is also far too high, but I have three 27" 1440P monitors on my desk spanning 6 feet across. I combat this with the "Sniper" button on the side of my mouse which reduces dpm to 400. I can quickly move to my target, then hold down sniper button as I aim and fire. Many years ago when I did Clan Wars, I actually used the full resolution of 7680X1440 and played Artillery to call battles.
It's not '' fat fingering '' that you are referring to when shooting a gun. What you are doing is you're anticipating the recoil, which causes you to jerk slightly. Every beginner does this on a hand gun or rifle. It's a bad habit that you have to get rid of, or you'll never hit your target.
Hand guns are in fact still legal in Canada. Just can't be sold or title changed... And in the great Commonwealth of Western Canada (Alberta) in another year it'll be back to business as usual... But FFS is a think...
I have broken my hands a couple of times. I sometimes press down on the left mouse button with my elbow. I have also tried using my teeth. That doesn't work as well.
That first battle explains how 15:5 battles happen. FV was overpeeking every single shot, standing in the open like a muppet, but noone shot him. Such useless team, they can't even shoot the free damage standing in the open.
Hey Claus, you know how you're probably the only person made WG to have EBR on both teams rather than just one for the whole battle? So it be "Yuri, Claus is right. Now it's balanced da da." Can you do the same for being able to solo in training room? You'd think they would done this by now, but nooo. They give us Elite Status for each tank that nobody asked for!
Klaus! When you going to stream a Witchfire playthru bro? I think your commentary and style would be highly entertaining to watch you play it. Lots of shennanigans happen in that game 😂
Hey Klaus, would you ever consider making some videos on the console version, modern armor? I think you’d really enjoy the modern vehicles and atgms. And if you need platoon mates me and the boys got you!
during my time in the army we were getting training with hk g3 which is a precision battle r*fle and 60's models sucks but 80's are still functional and accurate however i witnessed a guy missed 34 out of 34 with a precision r*fle at 200 yards and they count hit even if you barely hit the side of the paper and he missed all of his shots turns out despite the ear protection he was so scared of the sound he was shooting ground or the barrels at top of the range lol btw i really liked hk g3 its really accurate cuz i once used a non zeroed g3 with my sh*tty eyesight that needs prescription glasses and with the first mag i realized the shots were going upper right corner so aimed lower left corner and the next mag i hit 12 headshots it was amazing ( magazine capacity is 20 b*llets )
My hands get shaky at times, but I don't suffer from Fat Finger Syndrome. I do suffer from being a 63 year old WOT player. Never change Claus.
Wow, a player who's actually older than me!
Being 64 years old is like having 250 ms ping.
Auld grumpy fukkers syndrome that’s me 😮
@denson :))))))) true. Even at my 49, you still have about like 100 ms ping (with a real 35-50 ping) 🤦♂️
So that's what FFS means, - ps, I'm 70

I think they like the physical sensation/visceral feedback, even though it's not connected to a successful shot.
First match was well played and an example of "your turn to win" from WG. Second match was well played with the jiggle likely from being excited.
Claus: "Lower your mouse sensitivity and practice clicking"
me: Looks like it's SPG day again.
yeah, I look like that when my mouse is too high. all bouncy.
The reason he pinned the Gonkiewicza in the track is because there is the upper part that is just above the track. Fat Finger Syndrome (FFS) - A portable and applicable acronym if I've ever seen one.
I type that everytime i get to play as bottom tier 😂
14:29 - Claus, that's the reason why you hold a pistol with both hands if you seriously wanna hit something. While doing it the hand that holds the grip presses forward and the supporting hand presses in the opposite direction. And when you are skilled you also aim at the target with both eyes.

"Fat Finger Syndrome" also known as FFS, is related to the "other" FFS when repeatedly missing a shot.
I'm blonde, I like long walks on the beach, watching classic horror movies, reading, riding motorcycles, playing World of Tanks, and being a subscriber to Claus' channel.

That first dude must've been one of skilz's alts and his daddy was protecting him
Claus, there is a difference between clicking "sharply" on the mouse to fire and squeezing "smoothly" when firing for target practice with a firearm once you have your target and sights aligned.
Very good show again. Thank you.
AY UP CLAUS
I'm only 61 and don't have FFS (fat finger syndrome) but I DO had ROSTTBS... (Rush of Sh_t to the Brain Syndrome)! GGs Claus, and all other players out there!!! 😃
Mind bending first game, but an entertaining finish with the second game.

That FV played like he was playing in a warmup game. It SHOCKED ME seeing that whose were actual players 😱
Love your content. Happy Thanksgiving from Tennessee.
I agree, 10,000 games in, i have never been so lucky to land such a game.
Love your content. Both educational and entertaining. Just subscribed. Cheers - David, Australia 🇦🇺
2 videos in a row with clear resolution and high frame rate... You are gonna spoil us.

To answer your questions if you hit the track on a certain angle it’s possible to go up into the hull on fixed td’s
My father in law was US army during the Korean war (he spent his stint in Germany). H kept missing the target during training. His instructor watched him for a couple shots then said, " I know what your problem is, we need to cut off these two fingers". He was pulling to the side when pulling the trigger. I too have been battling the yips when pulling the trigger while tanking
It's not fat fingers, it's zooming out just before firing which maximizes your chances of hitting bullseye, because the longer you stay aimed, the more the shot will deviate. Zooming out has the same effect as a snap shot and your aim is bang on
Sometimes you have that intuition and feeling to make such shots.
"They stun you when you push in the bush! Everybody must get stunned!" 😀 And here's another Klaus banger "Fat finger! WaaWaawaa! He's the man with widest touch! Such a wide Finger! WaaWaaWaa!"
Klaus! Soon you will be able to publish your first album! Perfect for X-Mas. You can name it "Santa Klaus is coming!" 😀
Fat fingers went counter clockwise. Gatov!
they're trying to hit his lower plate but RNG is taking their shots to the upper plate which in that position is extremely angled to them
My theory is that it was a target rich environment, confusingly rich. This is how game looks when server reticle is on. Every time in replay when someone use it u dont know what it is...
Claus. I used to play with a cordless mouse. To establish connection on bluetooth, which frequently disconnected, input is required. Switched to wired after it cost too many games.

Hey, my fingers have a weight problem, what's a ----- gonna do, they're Samoan...

I'm shocked,SHOCKED.......well not that shocked
Maybe the FV215b had an SEP (someone else's problem) field, and they all thought 'this isn't a strong tank, someone else will sort it out'
I am a big guy with big hands, my fingers are proportional! My mouse sensitivity is also far too high, but I have three 27" 1440P monitors on my desk spanning 6 feet across. Game is not over, untill fat finger clips.
That is why they say to squeeze the trigger - no pull it.

You can purchase a new Hangun in Canada....
Just not from a Store.😊
Yes we know what you mean. Its called trigger control. your hand needs to remain in position and only the trigger finger move.
This is why I watch Claus, to hear things like "Fat Finger it" WAhahhahahhhaha Claus, please do not stop.
All the time, I need to use a trackball mouse, and keep my setting low on the mouse, but it will jump up for no reason from 1200 to 1600.
I'm glad to be among the cheapest supporter of your channel clause 😂
It’s called jerking the trigger. You squeeze slowly instead of pulling.
Claus, be honest, regarding fat fingers, what is your game Settings > General > Dynamic Camera? If it's Enabled you get this effect. Be honest now.
Mr. EDgun Leshiy (YT) knows how to handle Squirrels.
2:57 No way that shot done damage! Enemy tank should've been tracked at best!
I think they are using a mouse with a thumb track wheel, and twitch their thumb when they fire.
he confuses the RNG by moving and jerking the mouse
That first battle explains how 15:5 battles happen. FV was overpeeking every single shot, standing in the open like a muppet, but noone shot him. Such useless team, they can't even shoot the free damage standing in the open.
Maybe not fat fingers but playing on a laptop without a mouse. The finger slides a little when trying to hit the fire key.
I have man hands
Claus…Budy went clockwise…
@4:20 the 327 damage happened bc the polish TDs hull goes over the tracks.
Yes Claus, shorter the barrel the harder to keep on target 🎯. Oh shit FFS may become a thing 🤣🤣🤣
In financial markets fat fingers is pressing the wrong key on keyboard, if im not wrong.
Game works perfectly Claus…
I don't have fat fingers but I am guilty of negligent discharges.
My ol' lady suffers my fat fingers on a daily basis and has no complaints.
Every single day
Klaus! When you going to stream a Witchfire playthru bro? I think your commentary and style would be highly entertaining to watch you play it. Lots of shennanigans happen in that game 😂
Sigma and RNG at its finest
It's not fat fingers, its adrenaline
He has the server reticle enabled. The tank's gun is actually more accurate like this. The FV215b that is.
Yes, with firearms the error is called 'jerking the trigger' or 'slapping the trigger', but fat fingering it sounds funnier.
I don't have fat fingers but I do have some nerve damage which causes me to twitch occasionally. Being 60 might have something to do with it too, idk
Yes he shot the track of the Gorgonzola tank. What? Isn't that the name of it?
Some men have bigger pings than others.
My fingers are 74 years old, and they shake.
Shyt da, your here!
Shocking…!
I'm having my fat fingers cut off, 6 left to keep I hope, they do twitch now and loose grip, looking for the right joystick to use :D
Yes it matters
Shyt day, your here!
played my T40 today. Took 10 fully aimed shots. Hit ZERO.
RNG is hung over sometimes.
Happy Thanksgiving!😊
Hey Klaus, would you ever consider making some videos on the console version, modern armor? I think you’d really enjoy the modern vehicles and atgms. And if you need platoon mates me and the boys got you!
I have fat fingers and bad ping....sue me lol
i definitely have fat fingers.
I HAVE FAT FINGERS BUT THEY DON'T HINDER MY ABILITY TO PLAY WELL.
during my time in the army we were getting training with hk g3 which is a precision battle r*fle and 60's models sucks but 80's are still functional and accurate however i witnessed a guy missed 34 out of 34 with a precision r*fle at 200 yards and they count hit even if you barely hit the side of the paper and he missed all of his shots
turns out despite the ear protection he was so scared of the sound he was shooting ground or the barrels at top of the range lol
btw i really liked hk g3 its really accurate cuz i once used a non zeroed g3 with my sh*tty eyesight that needs prescription glasses and with the first mag i realized the shots were going upper right corner so aimed lower left corner and the next mag i hit 12 headshots it was amazing ( magazine capacity is 20 b*llets )
shocked again!
RNG fat fingers :)
I have a fat wrist when I play.
I suffer from Fat-Finger-Itis !!
I noticed I moved when firing so I have ordered a new much heavier mouse , my present one is far too light for my play style
second player carried the stupids
I have fat jittery fingers...
