  • How to remove the driver's side (passenger side is identical) seat out of a 5th gen Toyota 4Runner. Torque spec for the 4 bolts appears to be about 27 ft-lbs or 37 Nm. _

Hi thanks for this video! I am planning to remove my ‘21 rav4 power seat side panel. Only one side panel is broken and needs to replace and will diy. My question is if it’s till need to disconnect airbag clips even if i’m not removing the whole seat?

Does removing the front passenger seat disable the airbags? I have been wanting to remove the front passenger seat for a long time and wondering what someone would charge to do that and if it is safe ?

No, what disables them is disconnecting both battery terminals

Could you leave the passenger seat out permanently? Or would it throw codes hooking the battery back up. Would love to change the pass seat to a 12v fridge. (Solo traveller)

@@silverrunner8687 I want to do the same. I hope someone chimes in with this question, even though this is an older video.

When you remove your battery which comes first? The negative or positive? And when you put it back is it possible or negative? Thanks sir!

Negative first. Upon reconnecting, positive first. www.mcmgarage.co.uk/2014/08/01/disconnecting-and-reconnecting-car-batteries/#:~:text=Negative%20first,the%20positive%20is%20removed%20first.

At least I didn't include a Jar Jar Binks like character in this video...

Which plug is for the heated seat ??

I can only guess unfortunately - the yellow one I'm pretty confident is for the airbags, the gray doesn't seem to have wire gauge thick enough for heating, so probably the white one, which also probably controls all the adjustment buttons.

    Only front seat?
