[When I Fly Towards You 当我飞奔向你] Sixteen-year-old high school student Su Zaizai grew up in a good family environment and became a person who doesn't easily get obsessed with boys and doesn't blindly follow others. On the first day of high school, Su Zaizai disdainfully dismissed her good friend's obsession with boys but had an instant face-slapping moment when she encountered the aloof and cool Zhang Lurang. Su Zaizai fell in love at first sight with Zhang Lurang and decided to take immediate action, transforming herself into a clingy follower behind him. However, behind his seemingly outstanding academic performance and privileged family background, Zhang Lurang is a "contradictory" person who appears to be quite confident on the outside yet constantly doubting himself on the inside. Due to the presence of his genius younger brother, Zhang Luli, Zhang Lurang is constantly compared to him by his mother. What I loved about the drama is no matter what the situation was, they never gave up on each other and their trust for each other..They knew their preferences and they worked to achieve that..Even when they were apart they showed their care for each other and talked out things when there was any hint of misunderstanding..Such a healthy relationship..

Such a beautiful and wholesome drama, I can’t get over 😭 The OST, dialogues, cast and every scene was so well-crafted and simply mesmerising. This drama genuinely motivated me through school. I envied their college life, their work life. I wanted that to so i study harder then i used to. My grades also have gone up quite a lot. It sounds stupid when I say it but its not over exaggerating. It helped me a lot through school and I don’t skip much as I used to. Its sad to see this drama ending so quickly, I rewatched this show a lot of times to bring back memories. The drama OST is so good as well. (Paiges summer 2021) and for some reason it feels so nostalgic listening to it even tho it wasn’t even that long ago lol.

This is officially my favorite cdrama ever... I was crying the whole episode. This is my dream love life... No toxicity, no third-party interference, just them being in love without being tired of each other even for a second. The love Zaizai has for Rang. And Rang is head over heels for Zaizai's love... I don't want this to end. I hope I will also meet someone whom I can love like Zaizai... My dream is not to get rich, to get married but to have someone who will put me first before everything like rang.. This drama gave me new hope. when you love what you have, you have everything you need. ❤
At first, I just wanted to watch this drama out of curiosity because I wanted to get familiar with Miaoyi's acting while waiting for "Exclusive Fairytale" to air. But I am beyond happy with what I found! There are only two c-dramas I've seen so far that have such beautiful relationships without unnecessary drama, toxicity, or annoying second leads and give a feel-good vibe. This is one of those two dramas, and it automatically became my favorite of this year. What a wonderful ride it was. I'm looking forward to their future projects 🩷

I love this drama so much. There were no misunderstandings and plot twists. It was just plain, simple love. The storyline was so good and THEY'RE SO CUTE TOGETHER. Jiang Jia and Gu Ran were also SO CUTE TOGETHER. I was mentally preparing myself for any plot twists but I later realized I didn't need to. I loved it so much💗

su zaizai becomes my role model, i want to be like her so bad, and i will try to, i promise. zhang lurang becomes my ideal type of men (lmao good luck for find a guy like him). i want to be a friend as good and careful as guran, jiang jia and guan fang. i will never forget this crew. i laugh, i giggle, i cry of happiness, i was just happy while watching this drama.

If you need to skip days bc of your health, do it, because I didn't. I believe you will be just fine in high school! Don't procrastinate when it comes to college applications either! Those are extremely important!

This school cdramas are killers.. they will make you smile, make you laugh, make you remember, make you regret, make you cry... so dangerously sweet.. so much wholesome and overwhelming with emotions. This drama.. you can just easily feel that you'll remember it a long time. Su zaizai , Zhang lurang- those who are there in real life , be happy. Be happy in the fiction too. Not only you, but us, I wish all of us can be happy and have someone who'll give us such warmth, the one who'll bring light to our life.

What a lovely feel good series.
The writers wrote good characters, teenagers with much more maturity, concerning their relationships than most other C-dramas have done with adult characters, absolutely no need for the long drawn out rivals trying to interfere in and destroy the couple's relationship, and when there were other interested parties they respectfully backed off once they saw they were a strong couple, a great example to set on how to be and deal with relationships, way more pleasant to watch as their story unfolded. Makes one miss those younger teen years, how quickly those years passed as we raced impatiently, head long into adulthood, only to find that at times it's not as good as we thought it would be.
The last ep skimmed through a few years quite quickly though, and funny how they hadn't aged at all and still looked like their young teen selves, if only!! 😏
Must have come from a pretty good gene pool.🤗

Also feel it's worth mentioning, the lovely relationship between the young man and his grandma, it was a touching side story, she never gave up on him in his troubled younger years and him realising this, turned himself around from the wrong path he was heading down. Grandma was so proud of him and he of her, she also believed in him and that's all someone needs sometimes, to have someone in their corner. Would have been nice to have seen him meet his someone special,

Chinese wuxia wins with the worst endings 😂. Most of the older Kdramas from like before 2021 have happy endings but idk why they suddenly decided to make couples break up in romance dramas in the last episode

This was such a beautiful drama, the acting was superb, the story, music, cinematography, everything. I love how it wasn't a story about just love but also youth, friendship, growing and overcoming things. I'd love a second season to see Lurang and Zai as parents, also wish that they'd had shown their child at least!

Honestly I would say I've watched many dramas but this drama was worth watching. Ending was just amazing and perfect. Whole cast did a great job especially main leads. Their relationship was so charming and pure.. Loved it!
Such mature and natural acting made this drama to get addicted. with no plot twist but the daily life that someone encounters in real life is showcased nicely through this drama. eventually captured everyone's heart. no misunderstanding, no love triangle, no hatred, but beautiful old school days like fine wine gradually accepting the reality were the specialty of this drama. this is a drama where everyone can agree on the title of the drama really suits the flow of the story. I personally look forward to having them in another drama or even in real life someday.

Started watching this drama because of Gu Ran and Jiang Jia after watching their edit at insta. Ended up falling for the whole cast. So beautiful from school to University to work life to married life. Its like I was aging with them. I remembered my school time, friends, and what not. I loved every bit of it. So beautifully written and displayed ❤ not ready to say goodbye but have to😢 Beautiful ending showing from where it all started I was just hoping for others to in last scene😊 anyways one of the best drama I watched ❤ its a 10/10 for me !

The most beautiful drama ever,no toxic friends,no toxic love triangle. I wish I've found this sooner.Zhang Lurang is the definition of dimple boy,his smile could lit up the whole universe lol. Their male friends are "in a world of boys he's a gentleman". I love Zaizai's character so much,so cheerful and lively plus very positive minded,i love how quick she thinks. The friendship is literally the friendship i would sacrifice my life for. The most important part is the way Lurang proposed, not just a simple "i love you" and "will you marry me" but that whole paragraphs and the vids he prepared so cute

A beautiful proposal I have ever watched, this drama was cute no breakups a lot of comedy. This drama is in another level. Their dance was superb. Cuteness overloaded all the actors did soooo good. 12:47 to 16:39 OMG can't believe it was infinite cuteness. I like this line in this episode by ZhangLurang "WE'LL HAVE A CHILD, I'LL TEACH HIM MATH'S AND YOU'LL TEACH HIM ENGLISH" is in another level.
