Konami hates the yugioh tcg and has practiced anti consumer practices for decades now and ive reached a boiling point with the disgusting treatment of one of the coolest looking archetypes to come out in years. Thea shened archetype was butchered and they need to fix it. There hasnt been a good tcg exclusive since dangers half a decade ago. Konami needs to change, give us better tcg yugioh exclusives and better prodcuts overall.

Every release konami internally says "This release of cards will be the last, we will cash out fully and no one will wanna play or buy anymore"

Literally have to commit like 13 cards to the main for the maxx c mini game but they way they treat exclusives is wild to me

YuGiOh should just be managed by one company, Konami. That way the sets are uniform globally.
But then they wouldn’t know what cards to rarity bump to rip us off 😂
Not TCG exclusive, but this is kinda how I felt about Tri-Brigade? I loved the steampunk/post-apocalyptic Beastfolk aesthetic and really wanted more cards to release for their specific archetype, not just a bunch of Branded support. I know it was meant to supplement the Branded cards, but like...Konami KNEW that some of those cards just wouldn't see play in Branded, so why not make more specific to give T-B its own identity outside just teching them into random Beast/B-W/WB decks? More and more we see archetypes that are just pushed off the product line and they don't really DO anything. They don't even have a place at locals-level events. Nemleria, Vernusylphs, Magikey, Dream Mirror, Ogdoadic...the list of archetypes that just never get fleshed out is ever-increasing, while they focus more on random pack filler that won't ever get played and making sure that the new decks you can viably use is likely either a new archetype/theme entirely or was already an established good deck in the past. instead of spending the next 25 years releasing a metric f**k-ton of new archetypes...why not play a little game of catch up with the unfinished ones that some folks would love to see get some attention?
Bro spot on. So many archetypes aren’t treated well, it’s just so obvious when it happens to tcg exclusives.
I'll definitely be picking up Ashen, but I'm gonna wait a bit since there does seem to be a bit of hype around them. My hope is they go down in price after a bit and I can nab up play sets of all the cards for cheap. I don't even have any intention of actually playing them, because I'm if keeping it a stack with you, they're not real, but I think they will look really dope in my binder and that's worth it for me.
That’s a fair point. Those artworks are phenomenal, I’m thinking I’m in the same boat as you. Maybe I make them a fun deck with friends but who knows. They really need that second wave.
@@TheDuelingBeard I have some hope for their next wave of support and the generic pyro/fire support we should be getting throughout the year will help them, but I'm not gonna be too upset if they end up tier 9.

I like you as a content creator and I'll keep following you, but you are loud whispering all the time, why not just lower the music down a bit, you talk in your regular voice and in editing you just lower your own volume down. And to lower down the meme sounds, they can be a bit too loud.
Keep up the great work, I love that you speak up your mind and how you try to be as unbiased as possible!
Appreciate the feedback brother! It’s sometime hard in editing because how it sounds in editing is different from how it sounds in the final uploaded version because TH-cam processing. So it’s a process to get this figured out.

Yea that’s how I’m feeling, it’s almost tistina all over. Unplayable to start and you’re banking on the second wave and it’ll prob be a disappointment.

@@TheDuelingBeard or it's just a single $100 secret that makes the archetype vaguely playable as long as you only play the new secret at 3 alongside the field spell and whatever unrelated engine.
