Those grip tape bubbles can be solved simply by sticking a little pin on them, then you press them with your fingers and you're good to go. It's how we skaters do in regular street skateboards.
I have a meepo nls Pro and it’s the most comfortable board I ever had when I sold my boosted board. That top speed of 30 MPH and range up to 20 is great but I do like your wow go 3X bro! Have fun riding it
@@adnankazi2215 To be fair, I am seeing more hub users are having more hub motor issue than belt driven boards. You have to replace entire hub motors if any of them fails or replace one of them so there are still maintenance involved.
Nice. I just got one as well. My order only took 5 days from purchase for any future buyers so they might have just restocked in the U.S Thanks for the video happy and safe ridding.
Hi you and your channel are doing really well. You explain things really well and pass on your knowledge to help other people and that's what matters ✌🙃
Belt drives are fun but I dislike the range. Once you go up a lot of hills, they kill the battery pretty quick especially if you are a heavier rider. On flat roads it last much longer. It puts a lot of strain on the battery which isn't good. I know small wheels are better for carving but bigger 100mm wheels are better for safety.
They have a sale for like $150 off on that. What do you think of it compared to the backfire g3.I had the exway flex I didn't care too much about it riot pack. The wowgo looks a little better.more stable😎thanks buddy.
King I am going to be honest with you, I did not like the wowgo. The customer service and warranty was terrible in my opinion. Once I got the onsra I only rode the wowgo about 5 more times for test and hated every second of it. I have not had the chance to try the backfire so cant compar them. I will say for me, I will only buy double kingpin truck boards from now on. I just love how they handel. I will be reviewing the varreal rs soon if it ever gets here. It is close to the price of wowgo. I hope this helps.
Ramatorix eSk8 reviews yes I hear you I feel the same way because I have an evolve gtr With cloud wheels. And I also love the double kingpin trucks.I didn't like the exway flex right back to much the board doesn't seem too stable.I just want a second board for keeping in the truck for at all times. But the wowgo specs look pretty good paris trucks.Especially for like 599 I think or less.I tried a back fire last night and it had a pretty good ride and it was hub motors. thanks for the info😎
@@king1ny no problem, wish I could help more. Look at the varreal rs with the samller batteries. But be warned, I ordered mine on 2 Jul and still have not received it.
sory last question i promise, but i just heard u say u dont want the battery to die, so i had a question do the wheels freewheel when the board is shut off or do the belt driven wheels lock up like on some other cheaper options? can u tow or pull the board around by holding the front trucks and pulling it along? thanks in advance, sorry for the medley of questions there.. -peter
No the wheels do not lock up but there is more resistance. It is not like a normal skateboard. In a pinch you can take off the belts. Would take about 3 to 5 minuets. Then it would be much like a normal long board.
No, the brakes on boards are opposing magnets if the motors are not spinning then they can not brake. Boosted got around this by using reverse as brakes. I have not had a board yet that will keep you stopped on a hill.
The mbs mountainboard unstoppable wheels i am using now are 100mm. Nope no issues at all. One wheel made slight contact with the belt cover but it rubbed for a second and was done. Here is a link to that video.
I will try and count tonight. The motor pulley, wheel pulley, and wheel size all factor into the gear ratio so just counting the teeth on one pulley won't tell you much. I would compare top speed to get a better idea. Wowgo is 24, onsra is 35ish. I got to 32 lol. I will try to get you as much info and I can.
hey so i wanted to ask can you fit other wheels on the 3x? im liking the abec boas or maybe the 120mm cloud wheels.... would these type of wheels fit he wow go board? id love to hear your thoughts!! thanks -peter
I have only tried the MBS Mountainboard wheels. They are 100mm and so far are working great. I only have 1 long ride, about 14 miles total on them but love them so far.
@@Ramatorix oo i like the size do u have any links to the wheels? i would be soo down with running those if i can get the correct sprocket adapter for it... wonder if that esk8 diy builder site would have the sprocket that i need... would you also recommend picking up a set of belts to replace when needed? thanks for the response i appreciate it
Peter, Here is a link. You can also find them on amazon. Mine fit right on. Rubbed just the slightest bit on one side for a quick second. Watch my last 2 videos. I talk about the wheels and you can see them in action. Do me a favor and tell them i sent you!! www.mbs.com/parts
It just rubbed the belt shield the tiniest bit. I didnt buy anything but the wheels and replaced the bearings. I am running the same sprocket that came on the board.
@@Ramatorix regarding the trucks they are wide enough? so the rubbing you had was on the board like some wheel bite? or rubbed being too large and wide it hit under the board or on the truck? where is the majority of the rubbing issue occurring? and thanks soo much for link! tracking says ill get the board june 2nd i cannot wait, i hope they are true to tracking did u have to wait months for the board of did it arrive normally?

I went back and forth with the meepo. Only reason I chose this was because of the belt drive. Hope you enjoy your board.
Did you have any problems with the nls
I heard belt board have lot of maintenance compare to hub motor Nd louder in sound ! M confused in 3 or 3x

For those grip tape bubbles, you can pop them with a razor or box cutter and squish them flat 👌 Thanks for making this video!
Thanks i will give that a try

Thanks! This one one of my first videos. I was so excited about the wowgo. Now i wont ride it lol. Take care and be safe.b
It's hard for you to push it if you're heavy, plus a belt driven system introduces resistance. The 3X's deck is just like any flexy longboard.
My board took 2 months 3 weeks to come but I love it. I have the 3 though as it runs quietly! No worries about police hearing it.
Truest comment ever drivers do not like sharing the road! Be careful they can get silly.

Peter Piccolo you can still ride the board even if it doesnt have any battery left

Is there an app for the thing? And regenerative braking
Im no expert but no app that I know of and yes on the regenerative braking.
can the board do a full stop down a hill and stay put on the hill?

Nice job on the review. Be glad u didn’t get a hub motor board.
Thanks for the comment. Ya im going to stay away from hub motors. I am loving my new Onsra though. Its amazing. Take care
