I thought Minzy recorded this song before "I am the best" era so that was way wayy back 2010. She said recently she was preparing for a solo debut prior to 2011 but because of 2ne1's 'busy schedule' it was postponed. Either way, it's clear YG doesn't want her to do solo because if that company really wanted to, they could've given it to her anytime ESPECIALLY when 2ne1 was in hiatus because of Bom's scandal.
They kept delaying her solo debut and 2ne1 had such long hiatus… Minzy’s life is the stage, she doesn’t know who she is without it so it’s affecting her mental health. She made a great decision by leaving. YG is a crap company, this would’ve be a much better song had minzy’s solo debut got pushed through, but they drove her over the edge that made her officially leave the company…and they sold her song to other artist. 🤦🏻♀️
