Epiphone is cool, but it will never be as good as Gibson Custom guitars! I agree with you, great price for these decent packages i hope to one day be able to afford a CS Gibson though :/
for anyone out there interested in this guitar as either a beginner or even a fuck around grade instrument, go for it. It puts out great distortion with decent sustain, and the neck feels pretty good. Hell, if you can't afford even an epiphone les Paul standard this ain't bad as a cheap "get me by" guitar. no regrets, but maybe a few adjustments👍

I'm thinking about getting the Epiphone Les Paul Special II Guitar Player Pack. My question involves the amp and audio lag from Rocksmith 2014. For the PS4 - To get around the audio lag, it is suggested to use an optical cable to connect to the PS4 to an external source (like speakers or a soundbar) My question is can I connect the optical cable to the amp and then headphones through the amp's headphone out jack? That way I avoid the latency but still get to play without bothering anyone else?
Correct, neither of them did. Rickenbacker, Vivi-Tone and Slingerland all made solidbody electric guitars between 1931-1936. Les Paul didn't design "The Log" (which was basically a neck-through semihollow) until 1940, and the Esquire by Leo Fender didn't come until 1949.

Bought the Player Pack. Ditched small original for a decent Acoustic amplifier = huge difference in tone, range, quality with a bit of reverb. Tuners suck, still great value for less $.

(sry for my english) and pls reply ???

Hi I just bought the vintage sunburst preformance pack and I'm new to playing. My question is I can only get clean tones on my guitar/amp. How could I set it to get distorted tone like in the video? I used the amp settings that were for the distorted sound and can't even get close to it. So I'm really confused do I need a petal or something?
That isn't the original les paul shape, the original is rounded on the upper body, the special II is flat bodied. Not saying that it sounds bad, but I don't like it like that.
If you're a beginner, definitely, it beats out every other guitar you can get at the same price range and it sounds pretty decent with a good amp. Definitely get this over the squires or anything else.

It does suck. I had the guitar and amp. I smashed the amp. I have the guitar but it's shit. I do love Epiphones like the 600 dollar ones. The amp and the cable are the problems. The guitar is exeptional for a begginer.

I had one of the les Paul's special for about a year I popped some 60s les Paul pickups in it and oh my god this is more than just a beginner guitar

You guys should release a satin black version of the les paul special 2. The base colors look really ugly IMO.

if the serial and the epiphone logo not on the bolt on piece, its is surely fake.

I have the special 2 and an original les paul and the original is arched top. sounds better than the special 2, but the 2 is still good.
