      Presidential immunity is what keeps our country from becoming a banana Republic. The president has to have immunity for actions taken for conduct or actions taken during their terms. This doesn't mean a president is free to do as they want, the constitution has the remedy for a president who commits a crime during his term. Impeachment and subsequent conviction in the Senate, this removes the president and after his conviction in the senate that immunity is now lost and he can be prosecuted for said crime.

    Due to what the world has observed, Trump as well as many of his enablers and the hate groups/individuals that he has ennobled and protected ought to have already been serving lengthy sentences. There have been far too many delays and some of the justice systems are plagued by Trump appointees/supporters who even as Trump commits or enables crime after crime would still not let their beliefs in him go. Sigh. ⚖

    I hope they give Trump absolute immunity. Cause Dark Brandon has work to do. First he needs to take out his political rivals and anyone who doesn't agree with his world and social views. There are six Supreme Court seats that also qualify for this action. There is also senators and representatives that quality for this action also. Even quality immunity based on what Trump's lawyer describes will give Dark Brandon the power to do all the above. Is that what they really want? Come on people we need a decision fast cause Dark Brandon has work to do.. Now do you really want this? And there is still so much more. Make sure the elections elect Dark Brandon's people for all seats and then Hand the Presidency over to his Vice President without an election. That doesn't sound like a Republic or Democracy. Why did the Supreme Court even take this up?

    • @CollinKillian
      @CollinKillian 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      You don't understand what they're saying at all do you? Presidents have to have immunity for their official actions taken during their term. OFFICIAL is the key word here, arresting or killing political opposition or citizens who disagree with you isn't an official act. The constitution already has a means for addressing rogue presidents, and removing their immunity privileges. This would be impeachment, and subsequent conviction in the senate, this then can be prosecuted in court.

    If a policeman is performing an official act as in arresting someone, the policeman is subject to the law, if the arrestee dies in the process of the arrest. It could be due to a mistake or a crime that the arrestee dies in the process of the arrest. The policeman is STILL subject to the law and can go to prison as an ultimate result of performing an official act.
