    A very capable tool at a reasonable price, kudos to DeWalt.

    Lol your video highlights the one thing I dislike about cordless dewalt impacts (and probably others) the stupid direction switch. I'm always double checking I didn't accidently switch directions wearing heavy gloves or mitts in the winter. I wish it was set up like an air impact.

    Hey what do you use to mark your sockets? White paint, nail polish? Trying to find something that doesn't wear away easy.

      o Astronomy o use a paint pen an fill in the lettering and wipe off excess with a towel

    • @singlecams
      @singlecams  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man I used a paint pen. But for the sockets I used a lot I'd paint them diff colors like a 19mm I would make orange etc. Just put them outside spray primer then paint easy done. U can see the orange socket in some of the vids

    Get rid of the adapter and use a 3/8" impact socket and a 5 ah battery. My 902 will remove My Ford SD pick-up lug nuts that are torqued to 155 Ft lbs with No problem.

    Badass tool!
    I’m just thinking about all the people watching, very concerned about the random guy removing lug nuts on their cars in the parking lot! Lmao!

    I'm looking for an impact wrench that I can do brakes with will this dewalt be ok for that or struggle? I already have the 899 but its big

    • @singlecams
      @singlecams  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Craig caliper bolts yes for sure , caliper bracket bolts not sure. Watch the other video th-cam.com/video/zRnplhXqAaM/w-d-xo.html you can see it doing brakes. Maybe the dewalt mid torque would be good

    • @GovtWatchdog
      @GovtWatchdog 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Caliper bracket bolts should even be okay especially if you spray first.

    DeWalt advertised it at 1500 inch pounds I thought that equaled 125 ftlbs?

    • @singlecams
      @singlecams  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It says 200 ft-lbs? www.dewalt.com/products/power-tools/impact-drivers-and-wrenches/xtreme-12v-max-brushless-38-in-cordless-impact-wrench-tool-only/dcf902b

    • @singlecams
      @singlecams  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I see it says 1500 fastening and 2400inlbs breakaway - the 2400 gives them the 200

    • @zack6892
      @zack6892 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@singlecams I see now the page I read only showed the fastening torque my bad, that's pretty impressive for a 12v I actually just bought one before I made the comment. Thanks for the info it took off my wheel lugs at 100ftlbs like nothing.

    This gun can take off my mdx 22mm lugnut

    • @singlecams
      @singlecams  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Like for example if you look at the Tenwa video that impact with similar power and brushless struggles. So 200 ftlbs is really not strong enough rating to guarantee it will remove lugnuts.

      For 99 bucks with charger and two batteries I’ll take the Dewalt all day for what I need in a 3/8 capacity.

    • @zack6892
      @zack6892 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The stubby is awesome I've bought one and I'm not even in the red platform really. That being said I would consider them two different applications the stubby is kinda over kill for a 12v I think the DeWalt is better for light duty applications on the low setting I can mount a porcelain toilet perfectly without cracking the mounting tabs then take it in the garage and tear down a 2 stroke engine.

    try to use 3/8 driver impact socket. I use imwaukee Shockwave 3/8 driver 7/8 Deep impact socket Tested this little gun can do 170-175 FT!
    By the way you must know that 3/8 to 1/2 adapter Reduce some torque and you using chrome adapter!? serious?

    • @singlecams
      @singlecams  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Didnt you watch video when I said it reduce torque??? Reply back

    • @singlecams

      Maybe you test on lugnut it can do 175 but you saw in video it could barely remove rusted caliper bolt even with charged batter and impact socket no adapter.
