I've figured out this solo for a while ago and you're the only guy who plays the solo at the right spots on the freatbord. I mean, other guys play the same notes but you're playing them like Slash does. You ROCK Justin! No wonder that I have been following you since I was a beginner...
He actually doesnt really play it like Slash...and his bends are off - flat in a few spots...if you cant hear that - you're still a beginner - which is fine - keep working on it!

My 13 year old lad has been playing this solo for weeks and has it nailed apart from the transition at 9.15..every video up till now has taught hammer ons instead of slides which has made it very difficult for him, now finally he can complete it with this really excellent explanation....top top job.

Every other channel, every other website I've checked, there are many memberships, dvd's, lessons to buy, etc etc. You don't just do it for money. You do it to help people. Keep doing it. Hi Justin, the intro with the solo is super sweet but I have to admit I absolutely cracked up at your typical "hey how ya doin" right after the solo, it's as though you say that each time just to amuse yourself. You made it look so easy, your tutorials are by far the best out there. Now I've got to learn the tune......thank you very much once again. Nice LP by the way! I've got one too, lucky me!

Thank you for doing this video! It sounds very accurate to the original and it’s not an easy Solo I doubt I could’ve learned it without your video. There’s something I’d like to point out though. The “monster lick” that you start on around 9:40 on the video, well I don’t know how slash plays it, but for us mere mortals, it is much easier to play if you play it higher up the neck. Personally I don’t really care if I’m playing the exact frets that slash played or not, as long as it sounds the same, which it does. If you learn it the way Justin teaches it, it’s easy to convert it to be played higher on the neck, starting on the g string instead of the b. Not bashing the video, as it’s extremely well done, just hope this information can maybe help someone out there!
I'm at the point where I've played with Justin at the end of the video about 2000 times trying to get to each next level of speed and I've grown to absolutely loath the words 'and again'

Nicely done and you play it very well. I have a hard time remembering how it goes, but I'm getting the "feel" of the solo by learning some of the main riffs. I'll learn the main familiar ones and try to tie them together as I learn more. Thanks for posting! Awesome solo for sure.
I know that in order to be able to play fast you must always start slow and as a matter of fact it has only been 2 days since I started learning the crazy fast part of this song thanks to you Justin, but I just have to ask, how do I get to the speed slash plays? Any tips/ advice or maybe just a reassurance that continuing slow does the trick to pick up the pace! 😆🙏🏼
Every time it gets to the fast part...its hit or miss weather I make it through it playing it right..I've done all the bits at points...and it's so frustrating...its been 2 days...and my mind is going over it... I'm trying to chill and remember that it takes time...its a very addictive riff that goes back to when I was about 10 years of age ...so yeah great lesson thanks .. I'll get it at some point
