sometimes have cabbage worms. Spray them with pure protein that contains BT early season. They freeze in the winter so its not really a problem. I have a few aphids on like 2 plants.
during the freezing temperature below 35f, we use Themo blankets over plants inside our greenhouses including blasting a propane tank with a weed burner torch attachment to stop mist from landing.

No seriously for those not in zone nine and 10 look up Elliott Coleman in Maine and his Fourseason garden. I do it in Utah and it works wonderfully.
