Thanks for sharing another video. The camera and lens have produced some great photos I always enjoy your seascapes which B&W brings out the drama of the sea, your urban landscapes are pretty good as well. You seemed to have found a good set up with the Leica.
Ok have read your notes. Porthleven Cornwall. I’d love to go there. You didn’t need to sell me the lens I have one but you sold your beautiful home town. 😊
I think with your combination of landscapes and street photography, Gary would be proud of you!! Now for some “Fine Art” prints!! Sorry I couldn’t resist. But seriously, it’s great to find a camera that fits into your style and hands at the same time. Happy for you. I have to say I’m not there yet. My medium format stuff is just too heavy and unwieldy to feel like a good fit for me. But I am resting going back into 35mm after 30+ years of Nikons. But I did recently realize that some of my old Nikon glass yielded some very sharp and reasonably good sized enlargements back in the day. 🤔
Gary has ordered some " fine art prints from me " removing all the backgrounds to create fine art wasn't easy in the darkroom! I certainly enjoy the rangefinder for composing and focusing
@@AustenGoldsmithPhotography I think the new camera has given you a freedom that was possibly lacking in the medium and large formats. I’m glad you are enjoying your new camera. As for the “fine art”, you may have stumbled upon the actual meaning of “fine art”. It must be related to the difficult task of removing backgrounds in the darkroom! I’m sure it’s quite a process!! 😂Enjoy your new camera. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Hello sir! Great video! Mind I ask how's shooting 28mm using the M3? I plan to buy the M3 as my first leica. I shoot in this focal range but I know it wasn't really made for anything lower than 50.
Super images! Brilliant video! If grain a problem, use a slower film. FP4 is brilliant. The Joy of 35mm Leica is smallness! I use the 35mm Goggle-Summaron! Lovely lens! Bravo!
Lovely, pleasing photos. HP5 is so gratifying. It’s the only BW stock i want to use anymore.

I'm using a 28 mm external viewfinder as seen in the cover photo
Nice! I've been considering one for my M9, seems like a good lens and more affordable than a chron or lux.

No I'm loving grain , developing hp5 in rodinal a fair bit right now
