It's been now a while I've whatched CMBYN, and still thinking about the great chemistry those two had on the screen. I was thrilled also by The Secret of Brokeback mountains, but, even if you can absolutely tell how great the actors was in that movie, I never thought they would have some sort of relationship outside the film. So, I was wondering why CMBYN had had such strong impact to pretty much all the people who saw it? Why so many people are thinking about them like they have a strong love feeling for each other? I think that's because what we actually saw in the movie was exactly what was happening in RL. We just looked at two people falling in love with each other, and that's the reason why people -including me- can't move on from the movie. If it has this great impact on us - we just saw the movie - would you imagine what kind of involvment should be shooting it for the actors? Luca Guadagnino had their feelings growing choosing to shoot the film chronologically . So their involvment grew and grew day by day and you can feel it watching the film, you can really FEEL it.

It s totally possible to fall in love each other. They're different style so it makes sense to be attracted. They look so happy and comfortable whenever they are together.
While I loved, DEEPLY loved the movie, and all the hype videos that have come out of it, it is really presumptuous on our parts to say what did or did not develop between Armie Hammer and Timothee Chalamet. Do I think something did develop? I don't know. I do believe that those two actors spent a long time deeply immersed in this film in very intimate scenes and over time developed a very intimate bond. Their on-screen relationship had to have impacted their lives in ways we're not really being told...nor do we need to be told. Is there a romance? Is there a deep brotherly bond? It is somewhere in the middle, or even deeper than both? Not our business. They are two beautiful men who came together to make beautiful story come to life on the screen. With the passion and love that was (and is) evident when they are together, it has obviously changed them both for life. We don't need to know any more than that, nor should we. CMBYN is beautiful, and so are Armie and Timothee, each, and together. Enough said.

i think that armie was actually with his wife mainly because of his mother who is christian and he didn't want her to be sad that he's actually bi/gay, and maybe also because he was scared of himself/society, almost like oliver in the film. because like the bond and sparkles between these two are so obvious that i EVERYBODY who's not blind has to see that these two were meant to be together...
Armie Hammer is an incredibly laid back guy. He is not saddled with all the nonsensical restraints that most strait men have. He may have discovered that he can have genuine feelings for another guy but that does not make him gay. The mere fact that Timothy is extremely close with Armie’s entire family does not exactly scream romance here. At best, this is a great bromance that is certainly fun to ponder over and nothing more. I think it’s great that they have such a bond. It also makes for great movie making when the two leads think so highly of each other. I do admit that I love the fanvid here. Well done, and makes for great entertainment.
That's very well said. But there is one thing, he could be not just romantically in love, or you said genuine feelings, but also physically involved. He himself identified as straight doesn't mean he will always sway that way, there are bisexual, he might not just keeps it to himself. Aww... poor babies! Yeah, you could see it growing in the film. Maybe both of them were more like their character than we think. Perhaps more so than even they thought. Armie's whispers were like, nm... Armie spoke of the movie as the summer romance he never had or something along those lines. And every one who interviewed them and said you guys looked real to me... they were right. And neither Armie nor Tim ever denied it.

i think that armie was actually with his wife mainly because of his mother who is christian and he didn't want her to be sad that he's actually bi/gay, and maybe also because he was scared of himself/society, almost like oliver in the film. because like the bond and sparkles between these two are so obvious that i EVERYBODY who's not blind has to see that these two were meant to be together...
Armie Hammer is an incredibly laid back guy. He is not saddled with all the nonsensical restraints that most strait men have. He may have discovered that he can have genuine feelings for another guy but that does not make him gay. The mere fact that Timothy is extremely close with Armie’s entire family does not exactly scream romance here. At best, this is a great bromance that is certainly fun to ponder over and nothing more. I think it’s great that they have such a bond. It also makes for great movie making when the two leads think so highly of each other. I do admit that I love the fanvid here. Well done, and makes for great entertainment.

Hello CMBYN Lovers, have a wonderful Pink Monday. Umm, anyone kind'a disturbed by the look Liz gives Tim at 3:50? I get this "I could scratch his eyes out vibe from it". Tim has mentioned before about her getting angry with him about Armie. It makes me also rethink why Tim corrected Armie in the Interview where he is adjusting his collar and Armie said, "Everything was just as it was in the movie". Tim chimed in with, "Not everything" then he looked at someone in the audience.
Poor Timmy! I hope he wasn't ever hurt because of his heart where Armie is concerned.
That also takes me back to wondering why they both look so sad at that SBIFF Q & A.
