What tips do you have for families traveling to Disneyland Paris, especially for managing the ferry ride and keeping everyone entertained during the journey?
The ferry we went on had a little play area for the kids, which they loved! But generally speaking, the ferry is quite big, so once you've explored the ferry, had a look in duty free and done a few trips to the toilet with the kids 😆 there won't be a huge amount of time left. Take snacks/sweets/drink for the ferry as the prices are quite expensive... With the drive the other side, if the kids have tablets/ipads, I'd recommend downloading some games etc to keep them occupied or let them watch a disney film on your phone or an in-car dvd player. I gave thebkids my phone to watch a film. Or make up a little travel bag with a few things to keep them occupied, books, a few toys. Snacks lol. I think it's about a 3hr drive from Calais to Disney, so it's not a mega-long journey, and there's plenty of places to stop along the way for toilet breaks or if people need to quick breather xx
We went last year and car broke down on the ferry when we arrived in france.blocked a load of people from getting off.flippin nightmare! Lol.thanks Claire. 😊
OMG NOOOO! How horrible for you guys!! 🙈 I bet it made it all the more magical when you finally got through the gates to see the Disney Castle 🏰 ✨️ but what a nightmare start to your trip!! Xx
