We all know that she can take a classic song from the past & totally reinterpret into a different song, but this is the 1st time she has done it to her own original. Angelina has done this song many times in so many different versions, but I think a lot of the Angels really think that this is her best performance. Slowed it down even more and added her jazzy influence throughout the song that gave it even more depth of soul and her story of telling ability is right through the roof. Angelina, I think now is slowly coming into her own at her own pace. She is in control of her own destiny. No recording studio or record studio telling her what to do. She is a strong, strong, formidable and protective family and her loyal fan base is always there for her. She is a true singer. Doesn't need to add anything to her vocals. Just a piano and her voice is all you really need to really enjoy Angelina. That's how good she is. But if she's with a live orchestra or a jazz band or backing group she sounds just as tremendous or just singing acapella. She is a generational talent and we only wish the very best for her in the coming future. I feel she is taking a jump forward esp. in her upper register but also it seems to my unprofessional ear that her control is getting even better and her vibrato as well to name a couple. Her recent Christmas concert was the best yet and if you do any of those use James Thiel's site or Big Angie Fan if not on Jame's site. There are 3 that you may get a read on her improvement and "It's a Mans World" and "I Will Always Love You" ,(Whitney's arrangement), were live at the concert. "What a Wonderful World" is a soft,silky studio version. These are all songs she did when younger but has not revisited them for some time. I just watched a documentary on Linda Ronstadt and boy could Angelina's management team learn a lot from her team. Linda was like Angelina in the sixes. I just watched a documentary on Linda Ronstadt and boy could Angelina's management team learn a lot from her team. Linda was like Angelina in the sixes. Even though AJ has had her own concerts she should still think about opening for some big star for exposure to a younger fan base. She has bin so mismanaged this whole time...!!!! It's really quite unbelievable...!!! Watch the documentary and see how it's done. She should be on talk shows etc....!!!!
