She tries to put on an air of posh-but she would never be accepted into those kind of circles. The owner and she alone is responsible for the ultimate failure of the hotel, as preoccupied as she is with her own self importance.
Ive just discovered this series and what a gem. Had to watch all 8 on the bounce (or just about) it did seem heavily scripted in parts - or was it? as some of the events were too good to be true. Good souls with big hearts serving the absentee owner. Does anyone have info as to where these folk are now? Reviews nowadays say the hotel has become a cesspit.
Yeah there were a few parts I think were setups. Like when they kept bothering that guy while he was acting in the murder mystery. And the dog running away.
Why on earth would anyone keep and cherish a vicious, miserable growling dog. And if she's vegetarian why didn't she ask him in advance to cook a vegetarian meal.
Previous episode when that vicious little rat went missing, I prayed it had gone under a trams wheels, or even eaten by seagulls, but sadly it was not to be.

if they want to be a “posh” hotel. They need to refurbish everything and get rid of 99% of the staff and replace them with professional people. The current staff wont change ever lol - the award was won because they got everyone to fill out the forms in front of them lol
You must keep the Blackpool Tradition I would completely refurbish all rooms and foyer but show essence of Blackpool in Hallways ....I would do it for free !

Really enjoyed watching this series. Anybody know what went wrong because the hotel has lots of complaints on Google and is now closed down and was recently raided as it was being used as a cannabis farm. Im guessing this series was made in the mid 00's?
