Dude i love your review, you are so detailed and well versed in explaining the scent, i think it’s pretty rare as compared to a lot of the other major fragrance reviewers, please please please make more videos, i’m subscribed and looking forward to more reviews!
Thanks for this very nice and insightful review, I’ve been thinking of buying this one to add to my Xerjoff collection but I didn’t know much about it. I do very much like incense in my perfumes. And I love sandalwood, and Amber.
I bought zefiro recently but it is taking them forever to send it out. I can't wait to get it. I do have ivory route it is alright not great. However an incense focused one sounds more interesting.
Oh nice, I'd like to try Cruz Del Sur II too! I almost blind bought that a couple of weeks ago, but I've had my eye on Zoologist Moth and Akro Awake first, it's definitely on a list to try though, I don't have enough fruity fragrances!
Cool! I have never heard of Akro Fragrances before. Just had a look at the website and the fragrances look interesting, going to try to get some samples. Zoologist is a brand I am looking to get more samples from too, I enjoyed wearing Elephant recently. Thanks, Ben!
oh great, I would love to get the samples for the whole zoologist line at some point, they all seem quite interesting to me! Akro is pretty new I think, but the perfumer has been around a long time and I've heard some good things about all 6 of their new line. I think I'm going to pick up the discovery set next week, so I'll make a video for sure!
I have got a sample now. I tried it, I don ‘t know yet. The dry down is very pleasant, lovely. But after the start it’s really like a church. It does remind me a bit of something sad. Not a wedding. .... I have to try it a few times more. Give it another emotion! But it is really nice overall Bye Mirjam
It's so great you tried it! The incense is very serious and sombre isn't it? I love it but I do think it is less playful and more straight than anything. Definitely not a wedding!
Hi Ben! Thanks for the review. This one sounds a bit too serious. I'm waiting for my Ivory Route sample after your review of that one. We'll see.. I like incense fragrances but this one is scary-ish. Have you decided to make a fragrance for retail? I think you could sell it (at least locally) at work maybe? Who knows, it might take off! You seem to really know how to pick out certain notes well. That's a gift you should use. In my opinion, of course. :)
Yeah, I think this is lovely, but it is quite straight for sure. Ivory route is the more fun, easy-going feel of the two and they definitely share a similar DNA. I hope you like it! Funnily enough, Just this week I finished my first fragrance that I've been tinkering with for almost a year now! I have some rough formulas for two more which will make a little three scent collection (all based on the concept of a Japanese/Dutch trading post from the 1600s), but it would be very low-key if I sell them. I was thinking of possibly just doing a little Etsy shop or something similar but I'm not entirely sure yet! Thank you for your supportive words though!
Great review man 👍 I might pull the trigger on a full bottle of this one 🤗 because I really liked the review especially the part about the comparison with Ivory Route of which I love the smell of it too.😍 Note:- I already have Naxos, Renaissance in my collection 😍 This should be the last one in the 1861 line of which is my favorite line out of the whole Xerjoff lines/collection 😁
I am going to find a sample, because Ilike incense very much. Only honey I am not sure. By Kilian there is a Back to Black where a lot of honey is used and that was not for me. Ivory Route I like very much but a variation is welcome. I like your descriptions from Xerjoff! I have got 3 fragrances already with your recommendations. Delicious, thank you very much! I let you know when I will buy it. Bye Mirjam
Please do let me know and your thoughts! I think you'll be okay with the honey, for me it's very much in the back of the fragrance, but then I don't mind it, you might find it horrid! I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
Your reviews are fantastic! I love how in depth you go.
He's amazing at breaking down perfume scents. I would've only probably described it as "a lovely wet wood-like smell" but there's more to it. Lol

Hi zafiro or 40 knots?
Thanks for the in-depth review. I have only tried Cruz Del Sur II, which I enjoyed and I would like to try Zefiro and others from Xerjoff. Cheers!

Yes! A little Etsy shop. I love your interesting idea on a Japanese/Dutch trading post! How did you ever think of that?@@TalkingScents
Hi Zefiro or joint the club ? Which one do you prefer ?
Nice review

Thanks! Yeah, it's definitely a good one and you gotta get it just to complete the set at this point! haha
@@TalkingScentsno he would need Decas to complete the set but maybe didn’t know at the time of this video cheers
Great review. Subbed.
Great review mate. It's never one that wowed me this one 😞
Cheers, I think it's quite simple tbh, as an incense fan I love it, but I can see that it might be a bit unexciting.
@@TalkingScents I think it's because all I got from it was straight up incense 😂 love most xerjoff but not this.

can a lady wear this?
Depends on the Lady. But, yes, I would say definitely.
