Very very useful video brother, actually a month ago I was very much worried about my AC not working properly and the AC technician would not come even after calling him a hundred times literally, so I cleaned the coil with the help of a tooth brush ( as I saw the technician do it previously) but without opening the whole plastic unit as you did show it in this video, I also cleaned the outdoor unit with pouring a few buckets of water through the condenser, and my AC started working perfectly.To be frank and true I didn't know that I was doing the right job.Only after watching your video I knew that I did the right thing, thanks a million for teaching us to open the whole plastic unit and instilling confidence in us that we can easily do it ourselves

Super brother - i never tried to service my AC my self, but after seeing your video i myself convinced to service AC's by self instead calling service persons. Once I called urban company for service and Gas filling, you know what he did he burnt the compressor in outer unit and said due to some fault in wiring compressor not working, then we have to spend 12000 for replace that compressor - and he took that old compressor not even informed to us.
Do-It-Yourself. Very well explained.
But, you forgot safety part!
Switch power off and take out the power plug on the wall.
Nice explanation, very easy to understand.
Not only does a good service pro longs the life of the AC but it also saves a ton on electricity bills which is equally important.

You have given excellent simple demo for cleaning the AC thanks
Few points from my side that I learnt from hard experience.
1. (Most important) Never Never ever touch the fins. You have used toothbrush. You risk damaging the pins or bending them. I would advise water jet from tooti.
2. Use a plastic disposable plastic bag over PCB and electronic parts before bringing water near cooling coil.
3. My AC has remote sensor PCB on the front cover. Your AC does not. In case you are servicing that kind of AC (e.g Samsung) you will have to be careful with wire connectors and PCB.
4 You need to clean the blower. With the kind of dirt on your AC, you will get air, but it will be very dirty and unhealthy. I use pipe and tooti in reverse water. I am sure lot of filth will be hiding there.
5. You did not cover water collection tray. I am sure that would be clogged or near clogged in your AC. That needs cleaning otherwise AC will leak water.
Regarding point 4 ,did you cleaned the blower separately by taking it out of the ac or cleaned it being there in the ac?

Nice presentation. Two years back, we switched off the AC in running condition after the season, but we again started before the start of the season, PCB was not working as per machenic as AC didn't on. I spent lot of money to rectify PCB from the same machenic. This year again AC shuts down after few seconds. The same machenic is asking again to get PCB rectify. Please guide me what to do. Thanks🌹🌹

Paji ...there is a rotating roller inside the indoor unit assembly...even that can be cleaned which was not shown in vid ....and btw before approaching indoor/ outdoor unit need to isolate electrical connection as part of safety b4 starting a task !

Sir, I am having 3 ACs in my house. I want to do refilling of the gas for my personal split Samsung AC myself. Can you guide what parts, gas cylinder etc I should buy. I am in Bangalore.
U have meacnical idea then do it u can fill other waise it is dangerous today gas r very power full it can blast. Don't spoil u r life because of saving money he is telling today u do gas charge tomorrow he will say u don't go for docter u only do opration at home. He is setting and doing money he work rober he is spoiling many worker life all r having there own charges in there bussines. So don't calculate money see work there risk and pay them. God will give u more money. In u r bussiness or work u also have u r own charges u r one day saliery 500rs I will give u 100rs u will do.

It depends 1. Usage hours. 2. environment conditions. If you AC working from long you must check its pressure, terminals, capacitors and dirt for trouble free operations.
