Once on vacation as I was closing my suitcase the zipper broke. Is 10 pm and no sores open. I remembered packing duck tape. Soooo, I taped my suitcase and it survived the trip and customs. My suitcase looked horrible but nothing lost.
I have found liquid skin in a small tube that I have added to my first aid kit that I carry in backpack during traveling. Also a nail clipper for emergency broken finger nails.
Shower curtians are a good travel hack from dollar tree. When i went to vegas i rented a fiat 500 no trunk its a hatchback so my friend and i folded the backseat down put our luggage in the back and i used the shower curtian to cover up our luggage so when people looked in the back window everything was hidden. Safety when traveling. It fits in your carry on.
Hi, when i was in Japan, I saw this item made from wood. They use it to clean the iner part of ear canal. They scrap the ear wax out with it. It's very practical. Sorry for mu english, it's long ago, when I learned it in school.
I used the condiment bottles from the dollar tree for my lotions. Also didnt realize that ring came off 😳 Shower caps for your shoes is a good hack Didn't even think about checking the craft section though, great tips
At home, I combine my shampoo and conditioner in a 3.0 oz sample-sized shampoo plastic bottle. So much cheaper and easier to use than bringing along 2 separate bottles.
I'm in the middle of moving I use the purse organizer for travel and overnight stays at my friend's houses when I visit all the items I got at dollar tree they work well.
Purse organizers at dollar tree are in with the makeup bags. The antibacterial wipes are great I use them as a hack at the laundromat something I did during covid I wiped down the laundry cart and the handles on the washers and dryers. I never got covid.
Wow!!! I loved so many of these ideas! I have always been an overpacker...I love how you used these cases to store different items! And the masking tape and duct tape--genius!!❤
Great tips! I travel and camp extensively and I never thought to use duct tape for the drain in a tub or sink. 👍👍 I'll never stop watching tip videos because you can always learn something new 🤗
I use those salad dressing containers. The nice thing is they have two flat sides on the left and right. When you put them side by side, it gives you a little more room in the liquids bag
Heading to dollar tree to look around with a more open mind. Trying to think outside the box. Will be looking for the purse organizer. Thanks for the tips! Balloons to stop leakage brilliant!
Those pouches are usually near the socks. They often have them in black and red. The white color is a little harder to find. A few year ago they carried them in metallic. I’ve been using them for years. I made self preparedness bags for my whole family after the shut down. Everyone kept them in their cars. These little bags are legit one of my top 20 favorite DT items.
Great ideas!! Congratulations on your future grandbabies! My five sisters and I do a sibling trip each year since we are scattered across the country. We take turns choosing and this year it's Chincoteague. Next year it is going to have to be the midwest somewhere so if anyone has any ideas let me know!
It depends on the medication and the country of travel. Google and use “ask TSA” for any questions you have. I ordered pill bags from Amazon and attached the prescription label; put the corresponding medication in the bag. This method worked well for me, saved a lot of space, and I had no problems.
If I see on the listing photos that my Airbnb shower has shower curtains and not a glass door, then I bring a new dollar store shower curtain with me. I don’t want an old one sticking to me!🤢 Lots of great tips….thank you!
@bscats1 👂👂👂👂👂👂sorry but I agree with the people that are saying that the spoon like object is for the ear wax. Why? Because It came in an ear cleaning kit that I bought. It's really helpful. For cuticles it's common to see orange sticks being used, since they are not as agreesive as the metal. 💅
Great packing tips except the castor oil in a plastic craft bottle is a no no as castor oil should be organic hexane free and housed in an amber Glass bottle as the oil will absorb the chemicals from the plastic bottle and is not very good after that!

I always travel with gallon zip lock bags. They can be used to store food, small souvenirs, and even wash small things like socks & underwear
Great idea!

Shannon, those silicone do leak! Thankful I put them in individual sandwich bags!
I have found liquid skin in a small tube that I have added to my first aid kit that I carry in backpack during traveling. Also a nail clipper for emergency broken finger nails.

Duct tape is a god send for travel. 3 of my suitcases were ripped traveling duct tape works.
That mysterious item in the nail kit is used to push back your cuticles after washing your hands or doing a manicure.
Thanks for solving the mystery!

Little metal stick = nail cleaner.
Band-aide covers the blinking lights.
aby wipes remove make-up + intended purpose
I couldn’t find a purse organizer anywhere, but I used a plastic beach pouch instead.
Great idea!!

I have 2 pill pockets. One for pills and One for jewelry.
That little metal stick you didn't know what was, is an ear scraper.
Good to know!
Doing 36 states via amtrak.
Love this. Enjoy!
That metal spoon like thingy was a reusable earwax scooper. I use it when my ears get itchy.
No, it’s for pushing back cuticles.
We are traveling to Europe the first time and I was wondering about our prescription medication‘s do we have to leave them in the prescription bottle?
I’m not sure. I prob would to be safe.
Leave them in original container
It depends on the medication and the country of travel. Google and use “ask TSA” for any questions you have. I ordered pill bags from Amazon and attached the prescription label; put the corresponding medication in the bag. This method worked well for me, saved a lot of space, and I had no problems.
No, but use your phone to take a pic of your Rx bottles for identification just in case
@@christinatady4951 I like that idea.i'll have to look that up
If I see on the listing photos that my Airbnb shower has shower curtains and not a glass door, then I bring a new dollar store shower curtain with me.
I don’t want an old one sticking to me!🤢

Hi that metal thing in the bride pack is for cleaning your ears
Linda oh my goodness! Good to know. Thanks for watching.
No, for pushing back cuticles.

Great point!
Not crazy about putting my credit cards, ID, etc., on the outside of the bag, too accessible to thieves! Maybe put on the inside if possible.
Linda this little bag goes inside my carry on or purse. Thx for watching!
Has anyone used the VO5 shampoo or conditioner?
Yes I have. They are good but I used it in the shower and it made my tub dangerously slippery
I use v05 conditioner to make fabric softener.
All.of these.little items add up fast! Especially now thays its not 1 dollar and now 1.25, but nevertheless good hacks❤❤
That weird thing in the nail kit can be used as an ear pick. Yarg.
You are the 4th person to say that! Thanks for watching.
What wonderful ideas thank you 😊
You are so welcome!
I have never been able to take food through the tsa. I dont ubderstand how people do it.
Can you bring the little supply bag you made full of the dollar tree things through TSA?
Adrian I haven’t tried yet but the sizes should work. Thx for watching!
Thank you

You are so welcome!
Great video
That means so much. Thank you!
That little instrument is to clean your ears😊
Nope. To push back cuticles.
