Nice video, great sound too. I wasn’t paying attention in physics and a suck at math but by my calculations, you were carrying a lot of momentum through those puddles. That would scare me on my DR with 50-50 tires. I usually aim for the low spots ‘cause that’s where the bike is going regardless 😝 Bad-ass riding. Looks like it was a great day.
I'll personally testify to the hidden rock in the mud/water making momentum both I and my testicles worst enemy. 😂 Nothing like going from 100 to 0 in a split second haha. Momentum definitely helps with the deep mud however.
The DR 650 was my first motorcycle and I still love it. My current bike his a Honda CB500f, a proper street duty for commuting, training, and some rides...the next bike will be a Vstrom for sure. I really appreciate your channel and all of the awesome trail riding content especially with the various stroms of all generations.
Watch all the reviews from everyone and the 650 is a road bike with no ground clearance, right??? Wrong! Love the 650, love seeing what its actually capable of.
Can you share what tires you run through those trails on and any suspension mods? I just started riding my 2022 DL 650 XT off road and am looking to upgrade to tires to Tractionator gps or big block but I will need to ride highway to get to my off road spots.
Hi Jim, Running the Motoz Tractionator ADVenture tires in this video. Those tires are pricey but I chose to mount them again this week despite having a set of Motoz GPS available as an option (equally as expensive). They’re confidence inspiring tires that wear extremely well for how aggressive they are. Suspension: The best value for money modification you can make is the DDC kit from Cogent Dynamics.(BUY THE SPECIAL TOOL: it simplifies things so much). The DDC kit will absolutely transform the front end handling and Cogent are great folks to boot. They sell a “World’s Edge” shock for the Vstrom as well which is 👌I took the vstrom on the motocross track to test it out and was not disappointed.
@@RaggedRoadsMoto thank you for this info I really appreciate it. I think I’ll order the Motoz tires for my Vstrom😀and look into the suspension kit you recommend
Bonsoir qu'elle modification avait vous fait sur le V STROM j'ai l'impression que vous avez pas fait grand chose apart les pneus TT et est-ce que vous avez fait des modifications sur la suspension merci d'avance

Momentum is all you need in mud, even more important with less grip.
@@richardthibert3222 momentum is often your friend but it can very easily become your worst enemy.

Thanks for your kind words! CB500f.. An adaptable ride for sure! A Vstrom won’t let you down! 👊

Okay, 2nd video I watch from your channel. The V-Strom can really do that? Wow! I'll try to find your tire setup in other videos.
Fantastic to see the V put thru it's paces! Would love to have seen a cleaned up walk around at the end. Good stuff!👍
Great video! Have to find that trail!
Youèll want the following GPS tracks from www.trailtrashadv.com/maps
-Gaspereau Lake to White Rock Hwy 10

You definitely can man. She’s a great determined beast ;p
With proper tires it's a lot of fun. Dont try to do this with road tires.
damn fun day out by the look of it
great looking ride. Are these trails on the island or mainland?
Mainland! Gaspereau area!

Il me semble que ses suspensions ne sont pas d’origine. Dans le résumé de la vidéo il a mit la marque qui équipe ses suspensions
nice video.
