- I went on an overnight trip to Cumberland BC on Vancouver Island which is well known for its vast network of trails suitable for any skill level.
It was the the grand re-opening of Sphagnum PI, which has been completely rebuilt, including some re routed and added sections. The trail is now a true double black diamond and is filled with gap jumps, fast technical lines and a large on / off wood feature.
Alot of the features aren’t rollable, so I took the pre ride / re ride / free ride approach.
Healing vibes to the down rider mentioned early in the videos and huge thanks to the builder Cory, United Riders of Cumberland, Dodge City Cycles, Godfathers Garage, Rocky Mountain Bicycles and Marin Bicycles for hosting an awesome opening day!

@@jordanchaplinmtb what would you suggest for an insanely overbiked noob to tech? I ride blue flow at sun peaks. Have an Arrival 170/180 setup, so I'm not scared of much but have almost no time on techy trails.
