The question is did Jesus ask His disciples or us as believers to celebrate His birthday. I read the bible that Herod the tetrarch celebrated his birthday (Matthew 14:6), but there is no one single verse that tells us that Jesus celebrated His birthday during His time in this earth. What Jesus asked us to do to remember Him, to remember His sacrifice is to celebrate the Holy Communion(Luke 22:19). Thanks and God bless you and your ministry!

I made clear in my teaching there is no Biblical support for celebrating or not celebrating the birth of Christ.

The exact date of Jesus Christ 's sacrifice is given in the Bible but that has been abolished and replaced by Good Friday. We should follow according what the Bible said. Polycarp bishop of Smyrna along with other bishop of 7 churches of Revelation commemorated the exact date neither diminished nor added what the Bible wrote. Further that the Easter is based on the full moon calculated after the vernal equinox. These are all mens' traditions .

      Romans 14:5-12
      King James Version
5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God

Discrediting man made holidays was never the purpose of this video. It is not bad or wrong for a Christian to label a day more special than another day. For example, if I want to commemorate my second birth/baptism in celebration every year because I'm grateful that I'm his, I am not in error, and it is not wrong. If you don't want to do it, so be it, but it's not wrong to do it.

Thank you brother Tiff, My mother taught us that christmas made not be the exact date, however she made a point to the meaning of a time to remember HIS BIRTH and good will toward all people. She was not about stanta and all that but family. A good time for hats , scarfs and gloves and a good meal. Through the years I've pretty much followed that. I one day got a pamplet from garner ted Armstrong and it changed my entire life and The Word got so hard I just fell away. Realizing Our Father Jesus Christ would not put that kind of burden on me I regained my senses, thank God! Thank you for mentioning holloween because my grandsons birthday is on that day and i struggled with that untill i just told him that its not holloween to me its october31 your birthday Michael. Yep Christmas is a wounderful time of year but if we dont have anything at all its fine too. God bless

With all due respect, If Jesus wanted us to know when He was born or to celebrate His birth wouldn't He have mentioned it in His Word? HE DIDN'T
All this Division over Celebrating Christmas is NOT of God, but of the Devil, the AUTHOR of Confusion. This is what Jesus told us to do in Remembrance of Him.
"the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way also he took the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes." 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

Respectfully, the argument saying just because something meant something historically doesn't mean it means the same thing now is a slippery slope. Couldn't someone say the same (and trust me they do) about the bible?? God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. If someone's eyes are opened to the truth, why try so hard to justify a lie? Ultimately God uses all things for good and many people have learned the truth of Jesus through Christmas time- Glory to God. It shouldn't be an argument or point of judgment im sorry if that has happened to anyone 😔 It is however one of those things, once you see it, it's hard to unsee. It is a personal choice indeed, not something to condemn others 💔

On my second date with the boy that was going to become my husband, he mentioned nonchalantly that his family did not celebrate Christmas. I remember being very upset, because although I had not been bought up in a Christian household, Jesus had shown himself to me at age 7, and I was conflicted with the thought that someone that I had fallen in love with at first sight might not love God. Because I did not understand all these things, I thought he must be an atheist! Luckily on the third date I was brave enough to bring it up again, and in a very simple way, have fellowship with each other about it. This is a timely sermon, because for the first time ever, our family holiday falls over Christmas, and we are going to be in a house of Christians who do and don't celebrate Christmas, and I had been pondering how to navigate this with sensitivity. Our children do get one gift on Christmas Day. It started off being just a 'well done for a good year gift' that was not given on Christmas, but as they started school at their Christian school, they became more interested in the festivity of the celebration, so we started giving the gift on that day. We still don't have a tree. Our boys (7y, 5y) know the reasons why there are questions around whether to celebrate Christmas or not. We do enjoy this one time of the year when they can receive a little gift at the same time, and so just focus on having a nice family day, in which we continue to put Jesus first, as we do on every other day.

By the way: are you male? For then you must wear a dress, don't you? Men wore something that looks like a dress in Jesus' time. He wore it too. And the Bible clearly says in the Old Testament that women and men are not allowed to wear each other's clothes. So wearing pants is a sin.

Acts 15:19-21 Tell the new converts to abstain from pollution of idols. Christmas trees, carved into idols, or left as trees, are the pollution of idols.
There are only two kinds of religious observances; there are the feasts of YHVH, which are prophetic shadows of His ministry, and there are the the observances decreed by men for pagan gods.
Renaming pagan feasts to accommodate Jesus does not diminish the gods for whom these feasts originated. It only reduces Jesus to their level.

I did all that, too. But, growing means leaving behind the things that only a child could understand. We all inherited a lie and things wherein there is no profit. Jeremiah 16:19.
We all grew up in Babylon. Revelation 18:1-4 It's time to leave.
Celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles is what YHVH decreed, and I can offer compelling evidence for it being the Feast of Messiah's birth. It is also the prophetic picture of His return. That is why YHVH gave us these feasts. John 5:46, Luke 24:44
The days we esteem are the god we serve. Observe=serve. Faith is walking that path, knowing that I will never be guilty as long as I have chosen the correct Way to walk. Jesus is the Way. How did He walk? He did all kinds of wonderful works, like every good god does. He was moral and kind. But, what distinguishes Him from every other teacher is that His religious walk was the Torah. The Torah is the holidays of YHVH. They protect us from the pollution of idols. And, they are all about Jesus. It's a win-win.

I don't know about others but.....
I see Christmas like the parable of the wheat and the tares.
There are pagan roots to the holiday and it's not perfectly about the birth of Jesus historically.
What I mean about that is that the holiday has become a mix of pagan and the holy.
It's really up to us to discern the parts of the season that are not of our lord and those that are.
Personally, since realizing that Jerimiah 10, could be talking about this very season, I had a hard time even buying a Christmas tree.
Yes there is a link to the pagan yule log, a phallic symbol. However that being said..... Our lord Jesus was crucified on a tree. Something to think about. We need to know what we are celebrating. Do it with purpose and intention. Reject the unholy.
I would have to think intention and purpose are things that shouldn't be taken lightly.
The line in jer chapter 10 where they say that, "they deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not," made me think of no other holiday.
Plus we are warned to not learn the ways of the heathen. Ive read in early America, Christmas celebrations were illegal because in Europe it was about public drunkenness and debauchery.
They wanted to seperate themselves with he unholy practices of the British.
The books of Charles Dickens ended that....
Eventually the public demanded the celebrations.
It's important to know your history.

It is an established fact that Christmas is not the time of year our Saviour was born. In addition, the roots of the holiday and pretty near all the symbols connected with it are from pagan origin. Nonetheless, unlike Halloween, we can still celebrate Christ's birth and give gifts, etc.
Most importantly, the yardstick of our Christian living will be measured by how we treat others, particularly those in need.

I have a question where in the bible do God tell us to celebrate Christmas? I just started listening and one of the things that stood out to me was that you said many times that you were not giving your opinion but you were going to tell us what the Bible says. What does the bible say about Christmas? I am not against Christmas I am just looking for the truth.

The video is called: Should Christians Celebrate Christmas? and for the first 30 minutes you go on Praising and Lifting the Christmas Holiday as it is actually found in the Bible. Every year you celebrate Yeshua as a baby when He Is The Most High God and the only One worthy of all Praise and Worship according to Revelation Chapter 1, Verses 4 to 6. His birth would have no value what so ever if He would not have been Raised from The Dead thus His command was celebrate my Sacrifice and Resurrection until we will celebrate it together in Heaven.

We are fighting against spiritual not physical, I heard a testimony from a brother in Christ, can’t remember that was before he was born against or after, when he bend down to get a presents from the tree, he heard a voice said to him ‘I got you’ as you have to kneel down to get the present. (That is unknowingly bow down) He never put the tree up again.

First of all am not against celebrating the birth of Christ but why december when like man of God said coincides with pagan festivals?. There is no where also in the bible where we are instructed to celebrate the birth of Christ on the 25th december. We are told in the bible to celebrate passover and the Lords super. It's also an expensive event. It's so commercial. The money spent on this festival can be given to people who are in a difficult position. A rabbi also said that lambs were born in spring. Shepherds can't sit on the grond in winter!!!. There is too much compromise these days by Christians. I like and honour this man of God and listen to His teaching regularly. But when it comes to Christmas and easter I disagree. It's also came into existence through the catholics. Christmas = Christ +mass. Early Christians never celebrated Christmas, there is evidence of it on Internet. I led my mother, siblings, 4 children and granddaughter, family members, and friends to Christ by God's grace ❤. Blessings to everyone.

Nowhere. But since He is the Light of the World, it's not a month and date badly chosen, now is it? Let's celebrate God's greatest gift to us! Christians, who do not celebrate Christmas, just confuse non-Christians. And I get that.
But what the USA made out of Christmas, often is a far cry from celebrating Christ. So by all means, don't celebrate 'Santa Claus' and keep those things out and away. Instead show angels and trumpets and stars. Show churches and church bells and mangers. Help the unsaved understand, that it's all about Christ! THE Gift to the world. Then there's no harm in giving each other gifts in moderation. Whereas Christians again should lead in gifting the forgotten. But that, we really must do all year long.
Whatever you do or say, let it glorify God. As Paul was to all men, what they needed him to be, a Greek with the Greek and a Jew with the Jews, so we must translate God's love in every possible way to the world. Most certainly not by condemning other Christians for their form of celebrating Christmas.
May God bless us all in this festive time of the year and help us include others in His love.

I was so helped by your Bible study on Halloween so I was taken back by this video on Christmas and a little confused on how strongly Christmas is defended here. I love how you say we need to interpret the Bible with the Bible and also follow it closely with what it says (or doesn’t say for that matter). If Halloween’s origin is something we need to be careful and watchful of, shouldn’t we be concerned with the origin of many of the Christmas practices? We don’t see any of the Christmas practices in the Bible, among the original church. It only came in the 3rd century when the Roman Empire declared Christianity as its official religion and the common Christmas practices were taken from their celebration of Saturn. Now I love the holidays, enjoy family and giving gifts… but if the Lord wanted us to celebrate Christmas and make it a main Christian holiday, wouldn’t He have told us to do it? I’m wondering if Christians have a hard time parting with Christmas because of the special memories it holds for them and reminds them of family. But didn’t the Lord tell us not to love anything more than Him, including mother, father etc (family). Also, He told us not to love our traditions more than Him (I believe even these innocent, not evil traditions or practices). I love celebrating the Lord. I love to celebrate Him everyday, but I do hate how this tradition has become more important in Christian circles than the Lord Himself when it’s not original to the Christian faith at all. If people feel led to practice it, that’s ok, and if they choose to use Dec 25 as the day to celebrate the Lord’s birth, then again that’s a personal choice. I just wish it wasn’t advertised in the church so heavily. Praying that the Lord would all grant us a spirit of wisdom and revelation to care for Him above our family, friends, traditions and even ourselves. I’m led to this verse in Mark 7:7 “But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commandments of men. 7:8 While leaving the commandment of God (which I believe is to love the Lord above everything positive and negative) you hold the tradition of men. Mk 7:9 And He said to them, You nicely set aside the commandment of God that you may keep your tradition.” Only by His mercy can we be released from our treasured traditions and be One with Him on how to approach this Holiday season. May the church be a testimony to the world of Christ above everything.

So what you saying is ignore the truth about December 25th. That's a very ignorant view.
    (1)
Jesus wasn't born on December 25th.
Jesus was born six month's after John the Baptist.
    (2)
The Roman census records show that John the Baptist was born late March.
    (3)
The God Mithra was born December 25th. So if Jesus Christ was born six month's after John the Baptist. Then your not celebrating the birth of Jesus. So this is a lie that your condoning. And that's not only a lie but your spitting in God's face and on his very first commandment. Why are you misleading people? This is deceitful. And your spreading discord among your followers.
Why do you not want to teach the truth? Imagine a Christian minister that told the truth. Wouldn't that be a sight.

Christmas is pagan and filled with catholicism and The evergreen is symbolic because the blood of Tammuz that dripped onto it. Also Jesus says to worship in spirit and in truth. These are all Roman customs and we are to be set apart.

Sir. You video came across in my you tube.
While listening to your explanation I think I will contradict with what you said that celebrating Christmas is fine.
Because as you said we need to go deeper into the Biblical teachings of God. When I was not save by the Lord I used to celebrate it without knowing any revelation or insight about it .., but when I got save with the prompting of the Holy Spirit , I used not to celebrate Christmas, not because of the influence of the videos and other things but it was the revelation of the Holy Spirit as God said everyone who receives Jesus Lord and thier savior will know the Father, you will know the truth and truth the truth will set you free. If the Son set you free, you will be free indeed. Our God is spirit and we should walk in Spirit and in truth. The point is, " Is Christmas or the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ should be celebrate and commanded by God? In the Bible? " Especially in the new testament, there is nowhere to be found that God instruct us or have celebration to celebrate His birth. Except to go and make disciple and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Even His disciple did not celebrate it. Why we should do it ? God's words are all Holy, If it is not written in the Bible, we should not do it. As He said, " Be Holy for I am Holy. " And be ye seperate among them.
And another thing, The birth of our Messiah will never be coincide with other paganism birth belief etc.
That is why the devil is a liar! He is a deceiver. If he cannot stop the children of God reading the truth or the bible, he will do it by decieving them in rituals or other traditional practices that are out of the context of the Bible. Remember why Adam and Eve was deceived by the serpent in the garden. We should learn from it.
If you read the old testament, the scripture written about the Holidays that the Jewish, should celebrate for a lifetime and it is clear, like Yum Kippur ,day of atonement and others.
We are now in the teachings of New Testament and New covenant, that is why we are in Christ, His followers.
Everything that is not written or commanded by God in the Bible is obviously not from God.
What am saying is not to condemned or judge but to give enlightenment.
Jesus is coming soon. Our father is Spirit and we should walk in Spirit and truth.
If God wants us to celebrate is to celebrate the repented soul who accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. as He said the Angels are celebrating one sinner who repent.
We cannot comprehend the wisdom of God but only His true Children will discern His voice, His ways and His truth.
God bless you and I hope this will give you enlighten.
It is appointed to man to die once and then judgement and we will all be accountable of our deeds for Christ. Let us do our best to be worthy of His calling , Holy and Blameless.
Jesus is coming soon. Be humble Repent! 🙏 Seek Him while He may be found.
Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
May the Lord Have Mercy on us! And our generation.

There is no denying that many traditions and customs surrounding Christmas are derived from pre-Christian beliefs and practices. Even the time of year its celebrated, around the Winter Solstice (the idea of light overtaking darkness and its symbolic ‘translation’ into Christianity), is pre-Christnot.
Indeed, many of our present-day customs and traditions, from the days of the week, to the candles you blow out on your birthday cake, have pre-Christian antecedents; but no one really seems to complain about those. In fact, I’d be willing to bet that very few people are even remotely aware of them.
Quite frankly, whether one wishes to acknowledge it or not, the “pagan-ness” has been effectively ‘bread out’ of Christmas and its traditions for well over 1,000 years now. They have, for all intents and purposes, become completely Christianized.
