As the former singer in this band till Skyline, it fills my heart with joy to see people still talking about it. This album was the one where i reached the highest point of my musical career, quality wise (thanks to the Meister Luca Zabbini). Thank you again and again. Luca Pancaldi (maybe i have to start another project soon i really miss those times hahaha)
I really like this band and this album is my favorite of theirs so far from start to finish. My favorite songs of the album are Gold, Roadkill, Tired and The Longest Sigh.
You really should give Seven Seas another spin or ten, because it's on par with Skyline in my opinion. Sometimes albums like these deserve lots of spins to "get it".
Thanks for recommending this album! They've got some of that positive energy that Moon Safari's got. More modern sounding mix though. Probably because of the drum samples. Anyway, fun to listen to, it's like sonic fireworks in my ear. Great (!) musicians.
I personally think you have a point that 50 minutes is enough for the most albums. Albums that go over the 50 minutes I usually find "to much" and maybe boring. I think we can introduce "The Law Of Notes": 50 minutes album time is enough. ;-) Thanks for reviewing this album! Great album indeed.
I am not sure if it was me that recommended Barrock Project to you years ago, and you reviewed Detachment (a pretty good album), yet it was Skyline that I hoped would catch your attention. The album before it is impressive as well. They are probably my favorite of Italian bands--that have vocals in English.

My wife and I love this album! Skyline harmonizes better than any Barock Project album, because it was the lead singer's last album.
Wondering here wether a rouble a month'll do the magic trick ;)
