Realistic TRC1001 CB27/81 UK FM CB adio handheld - On The Air test

After repairing & re-aligning this flagship handheld, it was time for Mr Chippie to test it. TX power 3.5W. low power 310mW.

As usual, Mr Chippie drove along our 6-mile 'difficult terrain for radio' test route. He stopped at the 5-mile point to conduct a low power static test.
Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio we use in the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' flag on this video.

A brilliant scratchy corner test for the 1001 it worked well at all the key points and on low pwr at five mile point.

Hi, I have an old Midland 2001. , I have an old Midland 2001. I think it’s a 1981 so it’s getting on a bit it could do with a MOT and just everything checked out.
