Nobody asked me. I gave that information freely. Did someone ask you to offer assumptions about me? We all write what we deem relevant. I don't understand what the purpose of your comment was. Are you angry that I don't believe? That I talk about my lack of belief? Are you trying to prove that I do believe and am lying to myself?
I mentioned my being an atheist because this event was specifically about peaceful contact of cultures that are to a large extent defined and divided by their religions. Them singing together feels strongly spiritual to me (and apparently to a lot of religious people in the comments) which is something atheists don't tend to get emotionally invested in. Mentioning that I am an atheist and I'm still deeply moved by this video is a compliment to the organisers and participants. It's like saying: Here, I know you expect religious people to like this but even someone without a god is a fan of this. It's also meant to tell deeply religious folk that atheists aren't the immoral monsters they often believe we are. We too want people to be kind to eachother.
