@@MovingtoCharlotte It was mentioned by a commenter on a Facebook page moving to either N. or S. Carolina as a really nice place to live. We are looking for a smaller community that is highly walkable and safe. Also needs to be close enough to a major airport, 1 to 1 1/2 hours. We have several family members that cannot drive but would still like to be involved in the community and be able to be independent. I love the Baxter Village area but it has really skyrocketed in price. I haven’t been there but I love how many amenities are available nearby, walking trail, ymca/community center and the shops although it’s missing a Harris Teeter grocery store.
@@jimdehart9196 Have you seen any of my older videos on Matthews, Mint Hill or Pineville? They are closer in Charlotte suburbs with fairly walkable, small town feel, downtown areas. Baxter is very unique.
