You would benefit from connecting tools prior to submersion. Also petroleum jellies for steel surfaces.

You mean electric tools? You need to build a casing, you can 3D print a hollow shell in vase mode and fill it with a high quality epoxy to obtain a fairly robust & waterproof casing. All kinds of methods.
The difficult part is the rotating/moving part of your tool, you need a way to get this movement outside the casing without water leaking through the shaft seal.
I thought of using an air fitting swivel, it seems to contain pressurized air well and allow movement. But i doubt it will resist to high RPM, constant rotation. This is obviously the wrong tool for the job but appropriate waterproof rotary seals are expensive. flooding the tool's casing with mineral oil might counter this and offer some level of protection. Especially if you can pressurize it, the oil will try to escape the casing with more force than the water trying to come inside. But yeah it's quite an advanced DIY project no matter what.

    nice video.
It is doing the job ok.
Are this the common air tools ? they dont go bad for the water?

Sorry didnt see your comments. The tools do rust and thats why you should use the cheapest tools possible. Air chisel is easy to clean, something like the impact wrench is quite a puzzle to take apart and clean up. I hear some people say you can leave them in a bucket of oil or windshield cleaner. Drying them out with water inside is what will rust out the tool.

And yes it is regular airtool. You can also use a long hose with an ordinary compressor at the surface

Of coarse they'd work for a few hours until grease on moving parts is displaced by water then you will have too much friction. I can think this out before wasting money on destruction of tools.

If you're a commercial diver you'll have appropriate hydraulic or electric tools
Most people will be willing to sacrifice a 20$ tool if the job is a one time thing. My tools still work. Re-oil as needed
The grinder did rust out tho.

800 years from now archeologists will call those stones religious artifacts; in the time when humans worshiped subscriptions.
